I'm not the most active fan of Ina's. Or really Hololive in general. I'm not usually one who can tune in for an entire stream, or keep up with every new clip or big moment. But god, Ina has got to be one of my favorite online creators of all time. No one has ever made me feel so inspired and motivated to create and learn and improve. Her passion and enthusiasm for art is almost contagious. And, as is the case with this cover, even listening to her music ends up with me feeling the urge to make something. I might not be able to tune in to most of her streams, or be the most active community member. But I mean it with every fiber of my being, every cell in my body, and every new mark in my sketchbook, that I couldn't be more proud to call myself a Takodachi. Nowhere else do I feel more comfortable and at-ease with a stream than with Ina's. Ina is an incredible creator. One who can frequently sprout the seeds of creativity in others. I'm so glad that she's been given a platform where she's been able to reach so many more people, including myself. I hope that people never stop being inspired by her. -A Lifelong Takodachi
Honestly, yeah. I barely ever watch vtubers anymore, and I never did watch a lot of Ina's streams even back when I was an active Hololive viewer. But the few times I did watch (part of) her drawing streams... I just thought it seemed like a beautiful way to live. Dedicating yourself to art like that, I mean. It might have been the first time I ever wanted to be more like another person, and it's probably what made me realize what I want to do with my life. Someday I want to live just as beautifully as her. I even bought a graphics tablet, and while I'm currently struggling with drawing straight lines and building the self-restraint to do my daily practice even when I'd rather do something else (Getting noticeably better at both though, I think), I fully intend to reach the dazzling world I saw that day and become someone who can create beautiful works, not just consume them. ...All because of those drawing streams.
That contagion is real. I stopped digital art for 8 years. It s not like i wasn t watching other digital art streams. But she kept making me think about stuff. Before I knew it I order a cintiq and started all over... haven't stopped since and it is probably the best decision I made in years. I thank her for that.
@@bobthomas8342 Honestly, this is really true. Not just with her art and music, but you can also see it in her gaming skills. She's super quick at picking up mechanics and executing them well.

I mean when her job used to be drawing illus for games and such. She is technically on a platform same as ui shigure and such who are also illustrator and I don't think there are others in holo other than marine too who did as a job. The rest did it for hobby reasons at most which expects a lot of it. Not gonna stress ina on expectation but that's how I think through it
Sorry if there are spelling mistakes it's because I used a translator. I know that probably no one reads it but I needed to say it, this cover is for me the best song I have heard in my whole life causing me to cry every time I listen to it without having seen the anime or even knowing it but ina's voice along with the visuals It generates in me a feeling of nostalgia with which I cannot help crying about how beautiful it is, I thank the moment when I discovered hololive and more to Ina to be able to listen to this cover. I listened to the original version but it does not generate the same feeling as this cover.
"Illustration & Movie & Vocals: Ninomae Ina'nis" Sasuga Ina, wanting to do as much of this herself as she could. I just hope this is a learning experience for any future work so she doesn't lose so much sleep and put in so many long hours to get the next project finished. Calli I'm sure would testify, it's cool to be able to do a lot of things yourself with a production like this, but in the long term its more worthwhile to work with people so you don't put yourself under so much strain and stress.
The fact that Ina made this video while slowly learning and figuring out how to make video with premier and streaming side by side just show how much effort she have to put in this MV. Mad respect to our priestess
I remember watching Ina’s first karaoke stream and her talking about how she had her family go out of the house so she was comfortable enough to sing. And now she has an amazing original song and an amazing song cover. Seeing how much her vocals have improved since her first karaoke stream has moved me to tears. Around 3:24 was when I couldn’t hold it in and I’m just sitting here with tears just listening and feeling so proud of Ina and the work she has put into singing. You did an amazing job Ina, please keep up the great work 💜
[English translation] All alone, on a journey, I lost my way; as I stood still, my heart alone wandered. But now I can walk again, as far as I need to; yes, ever since I met you on this road. The song travelers sing, though I don't know it, sounds familiar to me as long as I'm with you. If the world we dreamed of exists anywhere, let's go look for it, beyond the wind. The freezing dawn, the parched midday, the trembling night; let's go see what's at their end. Your eyes, which know loneliness well, blink, and that color is reflected. I'll fly into the sky and become a crescent moon; those mint-colored stars must be shards of tears. A dock in the country to the east; the western seashore; a southern town in a dark forest; a golden tower; a hill in the north; the same moon wavered in the water everywhere As long as you'll let me hold your hand, how far shall we go? Together with you, I can go anywhere. Let's go embrace the rustling scent of a world yet unseen. I seriously cried the first time I listened to this cover. I'm just so glad that I have ina and the rest of the hololive to bring me joy in my everday life now, I am so glad that ina exists :"
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one being emotional everytime this song plays. And after reading the light novel series I couldn't hold back my tears listening to this song
Spice and Wolf is one of the series that began my journey into Japanese culture. It's absolutely amazing to see Ina covering this song, her voice is going to fit it incredibly well. This series and Ina hold good places in my heart so together is the best. EDIT: Oh my god!!! That was astounding!!!!! It's so perfect!! The insane amount of effort put into this, it was so much more than i expected! The animations, the illustrations, the vocals, everything about it was CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL, the raw love oozing from this is PALPABLE. Thank you so much for this, it is an amazing gift to us takos. I can tell you learned so much while doing this, when you look back at your debut, it's clear you've grown so much, both in artistic skill, singing ability, and overall confidence in yourself, and I eagerly look forward to how much further you'll go. Overall, as an old Spice & Wolf fan, and an Ina fan, I feel so much happiness for this.
It’s was my „first“ anime ever up to the point where I realized that Pokémon was an anime too. I didn’t even know what anime’s were but the show just peaked my interest and then I fell into the rabbit hole…
Some songs are just made for certain voices. In this case, there's no arguing that Inas voice is perfect for this song! And the illustrations are wonderful! Loved it from start to finish!
Ina covering our favourite S&W OP?!! Spice & Wolf was the first LN I've ever read (reading the latest Spring Log now!) so this is gonna hit home so hard 😭 Thank you for picking this song as your first solo cover Ina! CAN'T WAIT! 💜
This was one of my favorite songs when I was younger and you absolutely nailed it. The illustration is lovely, but your voice is also breathtaking. Lovely work!
I’m just overwhelmed and yet not too surprised of the fact that she’s done all these works nearly all by herself. Very beautiful vocal and great artworks!! Just so glad to watch this masterpiece!!
@@next-genshadow85 and the way we know about this just adds more to the magical feels. Ina is so amazing amd inspiring! I hope this cover gains even more views, both from hololive fans and people from outside the fandom🥰
7年間前、この曲を分かるために日本語を勉強して始まった。言語覚えるほど好きだった。今でも聴くと感動しすぎ、泣いちゃう。MV見るだけでイナさんも大事にしてるって分かった。coverを作ってくれてありがとう。 The parasocial relationships we form with Vtubers may be a bad thing in the long run, but seeing someone else truly love this song like I do hits me deep in my heart. Thank you Ina

Just a friendly reminder: Ina can speak three languages, produce professional art really quickly, can sing, animate an entire music video, stream consistently AND is super charismatic and charming to boot. I'd chock it all up talent, but let's also appreciate the sheer amount of hard work that goes into literally everything she does. She deserves everything she's gotten a hundred times over.
I have huge respect to people like Ina Being a self-taught musician myself, i can assure you that making songs (composing, arranging, recording), even if they're covers, is not a 5 minutes work, yet she has multiple recordings, including original songs - and all of that work is done all the while having a stream schedule, drawing art commissions and being a wholesome takopriest. I know i sound cringy at best with this comment, but it's really not as easy as it might seem. Ina, you are the best ~
It definitely isn't a cakewalk, having done a few covers as well. A LOT goes into each MV, especially if you're making all the art assets yourself. I commission my art assets so I cannot imagine just how much more work Ina had to do to pull this off. It's admirable and inspiring!
I believe this is the first official Hololive cover of Spice and Wolf? Can't believe I haven't seen this sooner.. Ina now has my full respect as a fellow Spice and Wolf fan
I literally teared up throughout the song listening to her beautiful singing. I'm just really blown away by how hard she worked on this and the fact that her voice has improved so much has me in awe! I'd say this is THE perfect song to showcase her singing ability and to show off her amazing art! Like dude, the freaking backround art like the environment, still objects, the lighting, shading, and the cute Ina carriage animation! Sasuga Ina-sama! 😍👌💜
One of those videos you watch and think, "Damn, they're spoiling us." This could've been released with a tiny fraction of the work that she's put in here, and it would've been received well enough. Except she did put in the work, and that's how you know she cares about her content and her audience. I don't watch that many of her streams. I just don't have interest in many of the things she enjoys streaming, which is fine, but that doesn't stop me from respecting the hell out of the effort she's put into videos like this one.
Everything Ina does is a masterpiece and now this??? Drawing the illustrations and animating the MV and on top of that those great vocals! I gotta say that you really did a great job on this one Ina, I can't help but be impressed everytime you put out contents like this. Major props too to the producer who did the instrumentals and mixing and to Sana for the logo and thumbnail design! 💜💜💜
This cover truly captures the journey she has been through, and the amount of work she has put into this probably reflects how much she wants to convey how she feels about this whole journey. I'm very glad that somebody like Ina has such a supportive fanbase, and I'm so glad to be a part of it! Here's to many more years together on this journey!
Spice and Wolf is one of my favorite anime of all time and 旅の途中 is one of my favorite openings as well. Ina could not have chosen a more perfect song. I am so excited for the release!!! Post release edit: I'm actually speechless...everything was so perfect. From the visuals, Ina's vocals, the mix itself. Ina you have seriously outdone yourself with this cover. I had the biggest smile on my face from start to finish and I would be lying if I said I didn't well up a bit during the release. Thank you so, so much for all of your hard work on this. It was absolutely beautiful.
Oh good, i'm not the only one. I literally finish this song, and immediately play it again. There's something about it that's bittersweet and i can't resist listening to it
You got me busted too. For some reason i couldn't help myself to click replay again.. there's something behind Ina's voice that is both mysterious and appealing. It's just.. well fitted as if i were to also, join her travels and unravel through as she sings.
Ina when singing she's looks like not Ina usually for me, her voices make me goosebumps, if i want describe it, her voice really elegant and cozy, she's very suitable with a kind of genre song like this. I won't be bored if i have to keep looping it though, Ina when get serious is another top tier boss 💜💜💜
Congratulations on 3M views! I remember being so blown away when I first saw this. Everything from the singing to the art to the mixing was incredible. I still love it to this day! The views were well deserved. On to 4 million!
Seeing that Sana work on the design with Ina vocal, movie and illustration got me hyping for this so much! Ina inspired me to start picking up my pencil and wacom again, love you Ina!!
