『Ｅｑｕｉｖａｌｅｎｃｅ』 is a lofi inspired track that features loops made from my favorite Chopin Etude (Op. 10 No. 3) set to the reassuring words of Hoenheim from the final episode of Fullmetal Alchemist 2003:
"You boys had a long journey together: all the people you helped along the way, all the hardships, the pain of losing friends you loved, the determination, sweat, and blood. Don't you think that may have been the price you paid?"
I wrote this track back in 2017, so I decided it was time for a facelift with a whole new mix. And why not edit it with some of my favorite sakuga and key animation to boot?
I originally used this track as the ED for my AKIRA video because I didn't know what to put under the end screen, but now I feel like it encapsulates the vibe I want this channel to have. The end of each video is like the end of a journey, and I hope to always make it one worth going on. Thanks so much to each of you for following me on this journey!
