nah, it's probably just him disliking just because kageyama exists in the video 😂 Oikawa can get a hundred friends and fans incredibly easily, that's one of his specialities, he's amazing at reading people and bringing out their best in front of him by manipulating (definitely not the bad kinda manipulating, more like the fascinating kind) out their deepest desires (an example of that scene with Kindaichi) so it's pretty unrealistic. Hinata managed to let Kageyama think that his past was forgotten and because they both needed to learn how to trust each other for them to be let back in the gym. If it wasn’t for Hinata, Kageyama probably wouldn’t have been able to forget about his past. And Kageyama being around the team also made him a better person

I want to tell this everywhere I go. "Kageyama is an egocentric King of the Court", his previous teammates used to tell this. Yes, in the beginning he used to only think about his quick toss should match with spiker. Everyone used to dislike him. But no one used to teach him or try to make a point where he was told of his egocentric behavior. Even when Tsukki met him for the first time, Tsukki called Kags what his previous teammates use to call him. But the person who could change his behavior was only Hinata. Hinata changed him in such a way that his previous teammates were shocked when he apologized to Hinata. Along with the teammates of Karasuno and Hinata he changed so much. That's what I like the best thing about HAIKYUU. My best anime of all time. No one can change my mind. HAIKYUU for life.

Kageyama is a generally solitary, introverted person with no desire in friendship and socializing. Therefore, he's averse to his teammates and classmates. He respects his seniors as much as he can, and other than Oikawa and Ushijima, his seniors are also very friendly. However, he's not affectionate towards them. Hinata himself acknowledged that Kageyama was a partner, not a friend. That's why he's so grumpy. However, after his rift with Kindaichi, he realised that his grumpy attitude can hurt others. As such, he became much more self aware and considerate of his actions, wishing his best to not make someone unhappy. There's no flaw in being asocial, and therefore Kageyama is still solitary, but now he cares about other people as well a lot more than before. For example, his imitation of Sugawara smiling. That being said, old habits die hard, and sometimes his anger still surpasses his conscience, hence his fights with Hinata, but regardless, he's overall much better. Kageyama is the same person even as an adult. He is quiet in group photos even with Hoshiumi, Heiwajima, Fukuro and Romero (much like Ushijima). Even his fans know it (he and Ushijima hold the same dull expression during autograph sessions, unlike Hinata, who's cheerful in front of his fan Romero Jr): when he smiled at Kindaichi and Kunimi, his fans were shocked that Kageyama smiled. A satisfying fact: after the time skip, Kageyama became friends with Kindaichi and Kunimi. They are the only people who earned a genuine smile from Kageyama.
