The Selmer neck sounds sweet, but this neck has more power and has a broader sound. To each its own!

Great playing Rusty. I like the warmth and buzzy spread sound you get. I bought the silver plated power neck from Eastern music for my VI but returned it because it wasn’t a game changer for me. I might give this hammered copper neck a try. Where can I buy one?

Sounded good from my end. :) Guess there was no air leakage being as the neck wasn't a tight fit. Which is why a nYC neck maker from KB Sax sends I think a set of sizing "things" for the buyer to determine what size will fit his neck. I guess even if you knew the buyer had a Yamaha 82Z Alto the openings might not be all exactly the same? If you took 100 copies of...Doing that makes it more likely to have a tight fit. My issue with his necks are I think most are "plated"...might be one solid copper neck...might be wrong...

thanks for this video --do you feel eastern music hammered neck better than selmer mark 6 neck ? or hammered neck brighter or more edgy or more power ? do you prefre eastern neck ? is eastern hammered neck is a pro neck ? thanks
