@@sunshineyrainbows13 Yes for some reason there has been a change and no explanation why exactly. I love their work but it bothersome the sudden change
@@normanred9212 yes, the video is amazing, but it would be even more amazing if I didn’t have to be an Japanese or Korean in order to understand it, hopefully they will do something about this.
@@captaindarksign3589 there are good solutions too if they are trying to reach out to more Asian viewers. I've found tutorial videos on youtube on how to have your channel's Titles, Descriptions, and Subtitles be in multiple languages so to your top viewing audiences they will be localized i.e. it will be in English for English, Korean for Korean, etc etc. The reason all this bugs me is due to 98% of their previous videos were all in English with additional Japanese and Korean. Many of their early season videos are all Western internet humor with built in English subtitles. I just want to know why the sudden change
Another great animation and cute too ❤. My question is why the change of having no English in anything all of a sudden. I know about auto-translation I was telling others about it weeks ago. Nearly 98% of the other videos had English Titles, Descriptions, and Subtitles avaliable and the sudden change is bothering. The animation quality is fantastic, one of my favorite Splatoon channels, but why have both Japanese and Korean and stop with English. For many around the world English is the bridge between and used as common ground. There are many helpful videos out there on RU-vid that can teach you how to have titles, descriptions, and even subtitles automatically translate for your most popular audiences(and those can be added for previous videos too). I can find several in a heartbeat. If you need any help with proper English translations, any of us would gladly help 😊. Don't take any of this as negative, we love your work and are just wondering why the change has occurred.
I know! I have no idea what is happening in the animation and I see all these other English people in the comments and most of them are English and they seem to know what's happening.
If anything, I just want an explanation about the unexpected change. If they said they didn't want to translate English anymore, fine, I'd accept that...the problem is that there's been (at time of comment) 4 weeks of radio silence about this sudden turnaround.
@@RevanNaut Correct. I'm not mad at Luckilyz, I just want to know what's up. Maybe they want to expand their Asian audience, but I've watched videos where they show you how to have your videos in different languages for different viewers so the Titles, Descriptions, and Subtitles will be localized. Thus you don't have to choose just one language for titles and descriptions. Hel I'd gladly do the translation for them if they needed help.
@@SkippyIsFunny the auto-translation works, it takes the Japanese and/or Korean subtitles ans changes them, but the problem comes with sentences being awkward and names being wrong. Again, I'm just confused on why the change lately
Weird that LuckilyZ just stopped doing English translation after the "Dramatic" video. I can get not wanting to do translation work for English Subtitles but not translating the Title or Description into English? (Especially since every video up until "Dramatic" had translated Titles and Descriptions?) I really hate pestering the poor creator about it, because their work is great, but long time English viewers (who watched this channel since the early days) ARE going to keep asking about this until there's an answer.
I honestly don't understand the sudden change, I know all about the auto-translation aswell but it is strange that they would change not having English in Titles, Descriptions, and Subtitles all of a sudden with no explanation. If they need a hand in English many of us would help. There are also lots of videos out there that can help with automatically translating titles, descriptions, and subtitles and make it much easier. And honestly this is bugging me a bunch because I love watching through all their stuff and this sudden change feels almost off. I don't want to be negative but it bugs me nonetheless.
@@sr.r6574 That's another thing, there's no information about this. If they'd said something along the lines of "I just didn't want to translate English anymore", fine I'd stop questioning it (and just use the auto-translate from now on) but the fact there's been (at the time of this comment was made) 4 weeks of radio silence about it is really bugging me.
@@sr.r6574 I'm not sure, I've watched tutorials on how to translate videos so your video's Titles, Descriptions, and Subtitles will all be localized for your top audiences, but at this moment I don't know what their plan is. At the end of the day it's their channel, but it bothers me because this is one of my favorite Splatoon channels that has ACTUAL good quality videos. So many other Splatoon channels are just weird fetishes with awkward cringy scenes. I'm not prude, but sometimes it's just nice to enjoy fun content.
@@RevanNaut the other funny part is the descriptions still says "(Please turn on subtitles to facilitate understanding of the video content!) I will make it for the fans. I used a lot of strength to express myself a little cute. :D" Which is kinda ironic since we can't read it unless i whip it in a translator. and yes I hate pestering Luckilyz's too, but the sudden change is kinda annoying
Yes, I am not sure why they haven't been properly brought back. The auto-translation works but it is a bit awkward with sentencing and all. What is strange is the big 3+ hr Season 3 compilation had english subtitles built in, had colored font, and no other subtitles available. I don't understand why they would go to all that trouble but then not offer translations for Titles, Descriptions, and have subtitles for the last few videos of Season 3. I'm not sure what's up atm
"[Splatoon Anime] Exciting date with squid" for anyone wondering what it translates into English. If they don't want to manually translate English subtitles, fine, but not translating your titles? Especially since all the previous videos (Up until "Dramatic") were English titles? It doesn't make sense to me.
Yes I am not sure what's up for now. Hopefully these newer videos get English back, kinda bothering I have to get a translator program to now read titles and descriptions
At the current moment, only the auto-translation works for English subtitles. I am not sure why there has been a change to the formula, nearly 98% of all their videos had english available for Titles, Subtitles, and Descriptions. Maybe in the future it will be fixed so others can read but at the moment I don't know
I am not sure what's been up lately, but they haven't had any English available for Titles, Descriptions, or subtitles. The best solution at the moment is to use auto-translation, it isn't perfect but until there is a change it's all we have. i am confused to the all of a sudden change without any heads-up, they have features for uploaders to post videos with multiple different language support so titles would appear in localized languages they choose of their top audiences.
@@mediumboygamer7499 the issue is every single video for Dramatic and before had English for Titles Descriptions, and Subtitles, even built in for their first season. I do not understand the sudden change, even after they put Subtitles all in english for their season 3 compilation
Auto-translate ain't the most accurate thing though. Also, it's weird that LuckilyZ just stopped doing English translation after the "Dramatic" video. I can get not wanting to do translation work for English Subtitles but not translating the Title or Description into English? People are going to keep asking this until there's an answer, by the way...
I am not sure what's been up with the last few videos, but they are missing English Titles, Descriptions, and Subtitles. The best thing at the moment is using auto-translation to get Eng Subtitles, it isn't perfect but until we learn why Luckilyz's doesn't have any English lately it is all that works. it's odd because they made all the effort to add in subtitles to the Season 3 compilation even color coded
