I feel almost the opposite. The vocals in this one lack all the otherworldly ethereal sound that is fitting of this place and replaced it with opratic vibrato. Those clean and ethereal notes are so constant through the original soundtrack that this just felt out of place to me.

this is the only song from the remake that annoyed me off hearing it for the first time. didn't deliver the same whimsy for me.
