What Momota pulled off after his suspension for gambling was nothing short of miraculous. He was a tier 2 player before and couldn’t beat LCW, LD, or CL. But after comeback he basically won most games against them (keep in mind that other solid top players like Chou, Ginting, Shi could not do the same). Not to mention his complete dominance over Axelsen.
@@user-gz7fh8vo6e He was really not a tier-2 player, he was world ranked number 4. He only appeared tier 2 because there used to be 2-inhuman entity in Men Singles which made everyone else look slow, weak or both But yes, he did improved quite a bit when he returned.
@@theonewhoasked9520 I wouldn't say understatement considering he only got to a stage where he have a slight edge against an aging and sickly LCW, which is a level, crazily enough, allowed him to dominate almost a year
I always admire Momota's play and Team Japan as a whole. Patience and timing almost perfected it. I would also greatly appreciate it if you could have an English translation in your videos, that way it would be more convenient for us to watch all of your videos. Thanks a lot.
Think Momota footwork is smooth. Remind me of how Lin Dan played. Just in tournament he don’t attack much. That why they don’t feel pressure playing with him.
