Hi Z3N, when do you use your higher resistance batteries? For practice purposes and not for tournaments right?

Hi I'm newbie I using akari rechargeable battery but I think its too large I fear that it will break my chassis. what is the best replacement? Is there thinner battery out there?

What are your thoughts on pairing based on measured capacity? My older charger doesn't measure IR, and back in the day when I raced Mini-Z we would pair them based on capacity.

If you only consider batteries as a brief power supply, P = V * I -> I = V / R. The energy compsumption is measured in mA, so you need to supply the maximum current the engine absorbs, but you could only reach that point provided that your power supply was an ideal one (3V - 0Ω). Since races are short, the matter of capacity disappears. This explanation is based on the Ohm law, not in Mini4WD experience.

He is asking the question based on Mini-Z experience where long runtimes are necessary. It makes sense to pair them that way, but I honestly I am unfamiliar in pairing batteries based on measured capacity. For Mini-Z it may be wise to use both capacity and internal resistance to pair batteries. Lower IR can provide a more consistent current to the ESC which is good in longer runtime races. This may prove to be even more difficult since you need to group 4 AAA batteries instead of just 2 AA.

Have you ever try ISDT C4 smart charger ? Really hope you can make a deep review about that charger. Thanks.

Mine always has an "E004" error code in the Nc2600 when charging batteries at the same mah. Is that a common error code in the nc2600?
@Z3NBluster
@Z3NBluster 5 лет назад
Do you have it plugged into a power bank when that happens?
@panoramix6608
@panoramix6608 5 лет назад
No it's directly connected to the socket
@Z3NBluster
@Z3NBluster 5 лет назад
Hmm, not sure. The only time I get errors is when I'm plugged up to my power bank and the power bank is low power.

What kind of batteries are the most suitable? Alkaline or Rechargable? Thank you in advance.
@Z3NBluster
@Z3NBluster 5 лет назад
I would stick to Rechargeable batteries. Their performance is more predictable and cheaper to use over a long period of time compared to constantly buying replacement alkalines.

@@Z3NBluster The problem is the majority of the Ni-MH batteries supply 1,2V and they aren't recommended by Tamiya.

Omg even a batery have different spesification in voltage and resistance. I usually just pick random an wrap it in a pair of two... Never thinking of this 😥

My batteries are Energizer is that okay for tamiya
@Z3NBluster
@Z3NBluster 5 лет назад
Sure. But I recommend that you try and use Tamiya Neo Champs for the lightweight batteries and Eneloops 1900mah for the slightly heavier but higher capacity batteries.
