As well as check out the Manhua (by STARember), which is very very beautiful... To summarize this is the best novel you should not be missing out 🌺
This was the most satisfying part while reading , finally hua Cheng's wait was over . And fact that he doesn't even need to say it specifically and hua Cheng's already knew that his feelings are being reciprocated was just ❤❤
I love the fact that Hua Cheng didn't expect Xie Lian to fall for him, he just wanted to protect him from afar yet Xie Lian did fell deep in love for him and their love is just so beautiful I feel like a third wheel 🤡
you ever think about how in the whole thousand gods cave scene hua cheng calls xie lian "your highness" exclusively and he only uses "gege" again after xie lian hugs him
To me it seemed like he was drawing a line. He didn’t want to overstep himself so he went back to being just the believer hua Chung. When he wants to be with Xie Lian and get close to him he called him GeGe. There are times in the book that he uses “my highness” in a respectful way in the beginning once he’s found out by Xie Lian, but is given a tactic approval to use Gege. 🥰 I think it’s sweet cause it shows their closeness. So when he uses”my highness” especially in this situation it feels sad. Like he’s trying to go back to that way of calling him because he “knows” that he will be rejected.

This is seriously one of my most favourite moment in the whole book. Hua Cheng must have been feeling so dejected and to suddenly be hugged by the love of his life and being accepted OMG I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW I FEEL BUT I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
@@oikawaslipgloss2811 so this might be a little confusing but imma explain. So since the original mandarin series was only 5 books, this scene happened in the forth book. But since the English series is gonna be split up into 8 books, this scene is probably gonna happen in either the 6th book or the 7th book. Idk how they're gonna do this but yea 😃 hope this made sense
the emotion in hua chengs eyes is so absolutely raw, even without color or background music or voice acting, you can tell every single thing he feels. truly a genius artist, god of hualian art
The finger twitching from Hua Cheng the way his shoulders shook in a humorless knowing laugh when he said. “That’s true…” hurts because even without the voices I can HEAR the longing and the painful acceptance of not wanting to hear the rejection of Xie Lian. A fear of rejection that is IRRELEVANT cuz Xie Lian loves him and his insecurities are all kinds of messed up, but I can hear it in his voice and it HURTS. 😭
Hua Cheng's face, when he was expecting that Xie Lian will reject him right now, is just on another level of perfection. I love this storyboard so much. Thank you for this amazing work!
The confession is beautiful and all but ACTUALLY SEEING Xie Lian panicking and trembling just by thinking about White No Face is stabbed my heart...... You depicted all the emotions so accurately. PERFECTION
Love how the butterflies dimmed when huahua was preparing himself for a heartbreak and how they just lit up and went into a frenzy when he turned around to hug dianxia awww
It doesn’t matter how many times I rewatch this I always have butterflies in my stomach when they hug. It’s just too sweet and too special for them and for us.

Heaven officials is my favorite MXTX work, it's just perfect, nothing extra or weird, just pure, it's so mutual and respectful, everything makes perfect sense, plot and build up is amazing, all the characters are amazing, and the chemistry is chef's kiss
the best thing abt this creator is jst how intricately they focus on their facial expressions. I absolutely love how xl's are really kind and gentle. also, they create the scenes that we may never b able to watch on donghua lest the l.a. u truly are one of the greatest blessing this fandom has and i worship u alongside hualian lol
This scene in the whole novel caused the most emotions in me and seeing it's animeted hits even more. While watching I could feel Xie Lian's hesistation and Hua Cheng's fear and resignation then unexpected hope. Thank you so much for letting us see this beautiful moment animated, I love it!
@@EM-wn7jd Hua Cheng - during time when he have been growing and turning slowly into a ghost king in cave under Kiln, (in short - ghost mountain/volcano) where he was sealed for 10 years - carved hundreds of Xie Lian statues. (romantic ofc, but also a bit creepy...) This scene is several moments after Mu Qing, Feng Xin and Xie Lian found out about it AND Hua Cheng identity as Hong-er, boy in rags from Xian Le which life Xie Lian saved during parade 800y ago. (There was also Bai Wuxiang between that and scene on the vid but that's far longer story - and reason why Xie Lian's panicking at the start) Overall Mu Qing and Feng Xin were both worried abt Xie Lian's security around Hua Cheng and Bai Wuxiang, Hua Cheng was scared out of his pants abt Xie Lian's reaction (and his security around Bai Wuxiang) and Xie Lian himself with Hua Cheng was like "I thought a bit and I'm into anyway"
Imagine being madly in love with someone for over 800 years and feeling like you're not good for them but then they find out and turns out they love you back.
it just kills me how he was never intending to actually confess, he was entirely content with just being near xie lian but never as close as he wish he could be for an indefinite amount of time :(

I like the way Hua Cheng spun around and hugged Xia Lian back so tightly. Xia Lian seemed to be enjoying it and felt safe being all wrapped up in his arms. At first , Xia Lian was in a panic because of White - No - Face but then felt a sense of security. Don't worry Xia Lian, you're safe with Hua Cheng. Bai Wuxiang can't hurt you with your husband there

The first storyboard broke my heart and made me cry. But this one was the death of me. This was so precious. San Lang looked like he was gonna cry. I was gonna cry. I love their relationship so freakin much. Xie Lian is so lucky to have someone like Hua Cheng
Poor thing, he was so certain he was gonna get reject, he didn't even want Xie Lian to say anything 😭 I think Hua Cheng lost all his hopes of Xie Lian loving him back after his reaction to the "Gege, do you wanna get married?" on book 3. HC said it was just a joke but he was actualy completely heartbroken. But even after that he wd still be close to Xie Lian, help and protect him

I _finally_ got to read this chapter and oh my gods this is perfect. Every little frame has so much left unspoken. Hua Cheng's despair and Xie Lian's gentle acceptance and happiness. The official animators are not going to be able to do it better.
