I remember my late-great grandma doing this method making mini pillows, Christmas tree design and small cute things etc. Not as impressive as this tho but I can't imagine there's really art like this
I think that little hand tool she uses intertwines the fabric on itself, when she pushes the tool inside the fabric it tangles in on itself and anything else, making a solid shape.
I wish I had that much patience, but just the fact of watching how is done makes me give up, but that much makes me appreciated the work people put behind their art even more.
I got this in my recommendations and don’t know Japanese, but I know the anime that this character is from and it’s my favorite anime and the first one I watched! You are amazing at what you do, and you have gained a new subscriber because of how amazing this is.
I was fascinated, that pile of fabric turned into something beautiful, and I was so shocked that I decided to do it (edit: WOOO !!!! I have taken many tutorials and the result is as I expected)
Wow this little character sculpture is so cute :) I’ve only tried needle felting once, but you’ve inspired me to get my set out and try it out again! I’m also going to try putting the sheet of felt onto the ‘pad’ to stop the felt fibres from sticking to the bristles and pulling apart
Actually unbelievable. My jaw agape the entire time- I had no idea you could bend the physics of felt like this. Not to mention the 1:1 accuracy of the character and her proportions. Stunning.
In the most simplest way posible, this is done with wool and special needles. Each time you put the need on the wool, the wool tangles in on itself and makes a shape. Depending on how many times you pu the needle in the wool will decide how solid the shape with be.
its the first time I saw needle felting and it's really cool how wool interacts with the needle to create each part. The end result is absolutely adorable
The craftwork and artistry are one thing. Making Kanna even more adorable? That's incredible. Seriously though, this may as well be magic. Really cool to watch. Her backpack ornament is a nice touch. The butterfly is next level.
Wow, this is really amazing! Your work is so beautiful and detailed. I once made something like this as a kid, it was an angel. Maybe I should do it once again, I'm searching for a hobby. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
