Hello, thanks for your videos you share. I need your help , i have volvo with DCT transmission and i live in iraq and we have no good volvo mechanics , the mechanic changed the transmission oil seal and the 9 plastic washers after installing everything the car drive and shift good but the reverse making strange noise sounds like something is loose . What do you suggest is the problem??
Hi 川山甲車房, I don't know whether you can help me. Your video has been a life saver for me so far. I had to change a speed sensor so complete gearbox strip down. I got the box apart without taking off the top three bearings. You took these off however at 8:30 in the video. But it seems I cannot get the box back together unless I remove these bearings first. I cannot loosen the two nuts which need an 8 mm hex fitting. Here's is my question: are they left hand or right hand threads? Or is one LH and one RH - It almost looks as though this is the truth from the video. Hope you can help a friend (Australia). (I am only doing this because I cannot afford a specialist)
Finally found someone on Oz who told me - the Bolts are LEFT HAND thread and extremely tight- 90 cm bar needed. The gears can be locked by putting the main case back on and putting the Position Lever into P.
