【成就你我的核心價值觀系列講座一第七講】
【忠於自己 無悔選擇】
團結香港基金（基金會）、基金會轄下中國文化研究院、香港教育大學、聯合出版集團及香港商務印書館早前聯合舉辦「燦爛那一刻-成就你我的核心價值觀」系列講座第七講，邀請到香港康樂及文化事務署博物館專家顧問（粵劇）、香港中文大學音樂系客座副教授阮兆輝先生，及鄧樹榮戲劇工作室藝術總監、香港舞蹈團的榮譽藝術顧問鄧樹榮先生，深入討論選擇工作的心態，以及成功的條件。
阮兆輝先生寄語年青人要按自己的喜好選擇工作，即使工作的內容很辛苦，薪金也可能只足夠來維持生活，但他相信，只要全心投入，最後都會成功。鄧樹榮先生指出，每個人都會面對理想與現實的衝突，但他強調每個選擇都有其意義，要對自己的選擇有承擔。

Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), Academy of Chinese Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong, Sino United publishing (Holdings) Limited and The Commercial Press, recently co-organized the seventh lecture of the "The Radiant Moments - Achieving Our Core Values" series. The lecture invited Mr Yuen Siu Fai, Museum Expert Advisor (Cantonese Opera) for the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and Senior Cantonese Opera Performing Artist, Visiting Associate Professor of the Department of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Mr Tang Shu Wing, Artistic Director, Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, and Artistic Advisor of Hong Kong Dance Company, as guest speakers for an in-depth dialogue on the attitude towards choosing a job and the conditions for success.
Mr. Yuen advised young people to choose a job based on their own preferences. Even if the duties were challenging and the salary might only been enough to sustain their livelihood, he believed that with wholehearted dedication, one would eventually success. Mr. Tang pointed out that everyone had to face a conflict between ideals and reality. Nonetheless, he emphasized that every choice had its significance, and one had to take responsibility for their choices.
