The ending is so sad, because the three of them just can't escape together. Someone has to stay in the fabricated world in place of Mary, so she can get out. It was in one of the books you could read in the game... But this ending is really nice! And the lyrics are so fiiting ;3;
True... i can't really see a better ending than that, i love Mary as much as i love Ib and Garry... and i don't see her as evil neither, in one of the endings (spoiler) you can see her being so happy about the world that she could never see while being stuck on the painting, she was just sad and lonely
Yeah, she's happy, but hum... You didn't forget that she killed Garry right ? =/ And Ib doesn't remember anything, that's not what I really call happiness. In my opinion, Mary is evil
I haven't even played the game yet. But I feel like that would probably be the best ending out of all of them, if there are multiple endings. Also, is Mary the antagonist?
This is how the game really should end, because they never give any real requirements to leave the fake world. After all, even in the alternate ending Garry does not actually die, he simply switches positions with Mary. For all we know all she needed was a certain number of petals that weren't her's.
Oh i see... yes, that ending is really sad... but well, i just tell myself that in the true ending Garry lives, so i feel... better, i just tell myself that he lives and he's happy, that's all XD even though it's just a game it still gets us eh..
Don't worry, you didn't spoil anything =p I had all the endings, it's just that I can't get rid of this image of Garry "sleeping", so I still think the same thing about Mary
I just love this ending! But it wouldn't work, would it?? Mary needs to take someones place in the real world in order to get out. Without garry dying, how would she come ou?? =(
Well, objectively speaking, it doesn't HAVE to be Garry's place she takes. Anybody would do. It could have just as easily been that other gallery viewers made it into the fabricated world that we didn't see, either prior to or during the events of the game, and died, leaving an opening for her in the real world... Not the sunniest of ideas, but that's how I like to think of it anyway ^_^
Did you know that if all three of them left Mary who is not real and didn't kill/leave some there in the "fabricated world" then when she leaves she just turns into a sticky mess of paint... ; ^ ; No real happy endings after all.... Mary all alone.
in the PV Garry and ib both gave Mary some peddles (aka life) so Mary took a fraction of both there life just enough to live in the world. but in the end they'll all die sooner because they divided 2 lives between 3 people.
Killed Garry? no, not in the TRUE ending, you probably got a bad ending, if you want i can tell you how to not let Garry die, and so you'll get the true ending, and btw, sorry if i just told you a spoiler about Garry not dying :/
