This is the best version of origami cherry blossom so far. Some use scissors and glue which I don’t like but this one requires only a sheet of origami paper, nothing else, respecting origami’s philosophy! Well done, I tried it and it was beautiful.
@Fleur I really didn't know this was an "advanced level" one. The video doesn't really have a label of the "level of complexity" now does it? so it is still required to either have some disclaimer that I need certain level of practice or the video needs to be broken down a bit into more steps. Anyways, I'm not an origami super enthusiast, just wanted to do something cute for a friend. Leaving some feedback here about what I expected and how it turned out to be...
Insanely beautiful... and complicated. Makes the few origami I've done seem like a walk in the park. I've done the simpler version of a cherry blossom and I'm sure I'll try this one and love it... or hate the process 😂
This model is perfect. The video was easy to follow, and I completed it on my first try. I bought a packet of Toyo "Sakura pinks" paper (mixed shades of pink). Going to fold this model over and over.
