After working in Edinburgh and Glasgow for a few years, I also returned to Kuala Lumpur 6 years ago. Sometimes, I do miss Scottish haggis and Scottish porridge oatmeal.
。。Proud to be Malaysian. Thank you Gary n 可媛。。。
One of the biggest asset for Malaysian is our genuine hospitality and friendliness. After travelling to other countries, I realize that you can easily start a conversation with stranger in Malaysia and it is without any ill-intention. Lets us keep this excellent quality of being Malaysian.
@@leewn2319 Always remember at the end of the day, Rakyat is the one who has the power over the Government, the politicking days will be over once the average Malaysian learns to ignore their political agenda but focus on core issues. Let's not focus on the bad, but enhance and amplify the goodness of the quality of Malaysian.
I used to work in the local Press. Ignore the media. Worldwide, not only in Malaysia, sensational news and drama sells. On the grassroot, people to people, we are good. Overall, we are "shee fuk" here.
@@lancyli8410 that makes little difference. look at Singapore, passed down fm father to son, but one of the best run countries in the world. Elections give you high for a week or so, then you realize it's a bunch of lies, and hope for a better candidate next time, and the process goes on indefinitely
Well, Hongkonger can only stay in Malaysia by a special visa which last for 10 years. No one knows what will happen in 10 years. MM2 plan may change when different political party is in power.
Glad I stumble on your channel. You have opened my eyes on some benefits that Malaysia has is much better as compared to other countries especially living space. 💕👍 Thanks.
Love ❤️ your channel. Many of my overseas clients (MM2H and expatriates) love Malaysia because of the weather, people, safety, environment, and opportunities. Blessed to be in real estate business, so I get to know people from all over the world. Get a chance to visit Penang, too! 我哋歡迎!
Glad that you guys like Malaysia..i guess as a Chinese born in Malaysia is a blessing bcos we still can keep our heritage.. Languages.. Food especially 😍.. I speak English, Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin a bit larr...I also think for Hongkies you won't regret starting a new life here😊
BTW, we should address people originated from Hong Kong as Hongkonger and rather offensive to call them Hongkie. It’s just like Malaysian Chinese don’t like to be called as Malai (马来)by Hongkonger
I met many Chinese-Malaysian students in USA, they told me life in Malaysia is not fair. Many jobs like officials and scholarships are offered to Malai, not Chinese-Malaysian. So if you are Chinese-Malaysian, you are on your own.
@@HaiTran-eg2dz you’re right. We are then rather resilient. Besides, this is a nice place to live. Not overcrowded, moderately organised … multiracial … Cons are conservative and less competitive
@@engineer4life Hongkie is offensive? Saja hahahah then how come Hong Kong people keep calling themselves Hongkie ?🤣🤣🤣 Same as my relatives in Hong Kong when they particularly mentioned their “identity”. As for Malai is a wrong saying and you don’t get it and take it as comparison to Hong Kie?? Malai=馬來 which is particularly referring to a RACE, not a country
Yes, the pace is a bit slower in Msia but people are more relaxed, that’s why. If everyone rushes to get things done, the stress factors will be higher, then there won’t be much difference between us and Hkg. Msia is a place where one lives to enjoy life, whereas Hkg is a place where one lives to survive.
being " chin chai " is a good well being philiosophy; i wish malaysian /chinese/ indian would take their work tasks more seriously and less " chin chai "
