I was at the live show yesterday. After all the songs were finished, this video played. The audience was laughing all the time at their contrived performance. Just when we were overjoyed to find out that Chika was the new drummer, she showed up in a new outfit and played Genkai Numa Life. It had the best groove. I think everyone can look forward to their upcoming live performances.

Oh... I really hope this band goes to your country for a live show. I attended a talk show in Shibuya tonight with four members, including Chica. We ate and drank while listening to them, and they ate and drank while answering questions on stage. There were about 100 people in the audience. The girls were relaxed and in their normal clothes, so it was a great event. The organiser of the event was the metal magazine 'Hedoban(Headbanging)', famous for pushing Babymetal early on, and Babymetal is a big believer in the magazine. Now Hedoban is pushing them hard as a band that will definitely break through in the world. I'm sorry, but we promised not to upload the content of the talk show on social media. But I can tell you this. The girls are about to become a seriously big band, starting with their first world tour this summer. As a Japanese fan, I'm very happy if you're looking forward to seeing them.

Welcome aboard Chika 😘 You have some large shoes to fill with Sae's departure but if the Hanabie lady's believe you can do it, I am not in a position to question their choice. Frankly, if Hanabie did a comedic intro "video", wouldn't it HAVE to be done this way? Over-the-top. Exaggerated body language. It's their essence of spirit. Subtlety does not have a seat in the house. (Ladies, that is both an observation and a complement -- the world is VERY fortunate to have you! You are who you should be -- never stop!).

Yukina is such a genuine performer. I love the way she can effortlessly switch from sweet and funny to raw and scary. And she's so natural and real, which is why I think she connects so well with people who don't even speak Japanese.

With Chika, the band has hit the bull's eye. As she proved on the EU and US tours, she is up to the challenge of such a killer schedule with a new band. Now the band continues at a more moderate pace, with festivals in Japan, Australia and Taiwan conveniently timed.

This was really cute! I definitely missed some news because I didn't know they were down a member 😔. I'm excited to see Chika though! Maybe do a video of one of your songs featuring new drum audio by her so we get a feel for her style and you get to showcase her talents! As usual the band is amazing, funny and super cute.
