Oh, another thing I also realized while testing her is that the character that dies in order for her to come back with buffs DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE CHARACTER SHE SWAPPED WITH, meaning you can have both her AND the character she swapped with that recieved her buffs on the field at the same time
The only problem I have is that her main gimmick needs her to be put into the backline (and then brought back into the front, which is another hassle added), when her design is just so top notch that you'd want to see her fight in the front line all the time
Makura's gimmick is a breath of fresh air though. While it is nice to have the new toys stay on the frontline for instant gratification, the anticipation whether the boss is strong enough to force her out to the front makes for a well-executed delayed gratification. More often when someone in the frontline gets knocked out, it's all downhill from there. But with Makura stepping up, the formation stays robust. Even more robust if the boss misses to get rid of the ally she initially boosted (Nehan in this case) and there is basically two of them on the board having Makura's unique buffs. So all in all for me, Makura's gameplay is a 9/10. I had to dock a point for her being in Light. Would love to have Water have her instead alongside Vajra who is also bouncing around with Garjana
@@Xendarel I get your point, but that's not MY point. My point is she looks SOO GOOD, I WANT her to be in the front line all the time. There are other characters that put themselves in the back line as a mechanic like she does, but they don't look as good as her so I don't mind having them go to the backline. And they're fun too, but they don't look as good so it doesn't really matter to me
Well her aegis merge guarantees that Makura's sk1 stays up until T5 so that whoever she swaps out with will get both buffs. If you're not FAing you can use her sk2 first and hope she dodges enough before turn 5.
