Double strike opus have -100% charge speed, it kinda work with nehan buff for other chars to give normal charge gain, but nehan would still have -100% charge speed Double strike opus only really work for burst and qilin
Makura has "Guaranteed Double Attacks", meaning she will always at least double attack (but can still Triple Attack). This is different from Lancelot's "Always Double Attacks", which prevents him from Triple Attacking. As for where her TA comes from: Makura has 4 Triple Attack EMP Nodes (20%), grid has two Radiant Rinne's (which have TA via Fandango), Masquerade's stacking buff gives TA, and Vira's 3rd skill guarantees TA on Turn 1. When Nehan arrives, one of his buffs also guarantees TA to the whole party.
I've been running this, Monk MC, Mahira, Makura, Y. Narm, Boar (To swap in with Makura) It does crazy good damage, lots of activation, practically untouchable with the dodge buffs, and plenty more CAs letting me get that S4 out way more often. Certainly powerful and worth it. I'll try it with Nehan and let you know how it goes in a moment.
Boar does a lot of heavy lifting for this party between her buffs, her aggro and her nuke, she's actually a great candidate for Makura to sub in, without her you'll miss out on a ton of buffing, but, no part of her is strictly necessary for this team to work, she just makes your autos way better. H. Hallessena helps buff and make up for it, but since she's hyperlimited, you're probably missing her too, in which I'd say G. Jeanne, though with worse up times. Failing that, Lucio might work, although much more selfish. Really, just go through your characters, look at who's decent at buffing, or otherwise just delivering plenty of damage. I hope you have some fortunate rolls soon enough and you get your very own pig soon enough. Magna really does this build a disservice since it doesn't crank up the skill damage which is the star of the show here. I'm running magna as well and it's still good, but it's a fraction of the real power available with these characters.
@@katlicks thank you so much for the reply and well-wishes! it helped a lot - ill do some experimenting and see how it goes (you are correct in that i dont have halloween hallessena haha) edit: i had wound up putting in light percy (belatedly realising his crests help with skill damage) and he seems to be doing alright so far
@@Perpetual_Dreams Good stuff, Makura has been the most fun I've had with experimenting with parties in a long while. Jumping Makura into Nicholas has been absolutely wild, Grand God Kaiser with her buffs is just absurd and fun. Short lived, but those few turns with it is just exciting.
For some weird reason my Nehan refuses to dodge. I barely let him enter in fediel and in 2 turns he was knocked out. He didn't dodge a single blow which makes me question RNG. I don't think it's normal for him to die so easy, especially after watching your videos
I've had good luck, I've had atrocious luck. Sometimes Nehan has ultra instinct and refuses to be touched, other times he acts like he was crippled and laying in a hospital bed for a year.
