Newly converted Kazetarian here, actually I didn't like shinunoga ee wa back in 2022 & forgot about him..until I heard 'Hana' & then 'Matsuri' 2 months ago, got addicted to every of his songs since then. There's magic to Kaze's music that the more you hear, the more you are addicted. Recently really love 帰ろう なんなんw きらり, every song is so meaningful & encouraging others to be true to one's self.❤
I studied Japanese through music after watching The ending theme song from The Water Margin in 1976, 47 years ago. I have learned Japanese songs through the 70, 80 and 90s and early 2000s. When I lived in Japan in the 90s-2000s I was a backing singer in a band. Loved it. I don't know these songs but my son probably does. Love your content as I can see what the younger generation listens to. ❤
I prefer Matsuri than Shinunoga E Wa. Of course both are great song but as the woman said Shinunoga E Wa is more popular in foreign countries than in Japan. I guess the word of “Shi 死 =death” is kind of unacceptable in public. Anyway I really love Fujii Kaze and his songs !
Besides the anime/tiktok hook, many of the artists on the list do have english subtitles on their videos. To have an official translation of the lyrics makes a HUGE difference, not like before where fans were doing the translations (and downloading song on the internet as Byron said). Also, Fujii Kaze speaks english and he does it often on his channel and instagram, and you can feel the desire to connect with audiences outside Japan.
