The videos about the quiet residential areas are amazing, they sure belong to my favourites! Such a big contrast to the buzzeling areas, which are a 10 min walk away.
Gorgeous video. Have been to Japan three times and this only makes we want to go back first thing once travel resumes. Also, it is good to see the Tokyo 2020 Olympic banners stayed out. It's like they are saying "Hey, we were ready!!" : )
The dream of being able to travel again comes to life thanks to your videos which are for me a real breath of fresh air! Thanks for sharing my friend ! Merci 😊 どうもありがとうございます
Fantastic video!! This is the clearest, smoothest street video I have ever seen, great job. Thank you so much for posting, I felt like I was walking with you, so enjoyable. I hope you post some more.
This is awesome. I like the contrast between the bustling area in the beginning and the oh so quiet streets just minutes later. How's Japan doing right now? Is tourism allowed, or must overseas visitors get quarantined first? Nice videos, keep them coming. Liked and subscribed.
There are apartments for sale there. A few are not what we think of as apartments since they are “whole building apartments”. Houses sell from 180 million to 3 billion yen. The land they are on is priced separately. Land in Shoto is 2 to 3 million per square meter. Typically, the house covers most of the lot, but some appear to have larger lots. The houses are on multiple levels, so I imagine your neighbors’ houses cast shadows on your house and lot.
After about 10 years of watching travel videos I sometimes wonder if I am going to see a more beautiful video than I have seen in the last 10 years and this video makes me say yes this is the best video among the videos I have seen so far. Thanks for walking along this stunningly beautiful area and bringing a video of unbelievable beauty.
This video is good, as your name is,"Japan Explorer" you really explored today, I liked it. Rest from many past videos you had nothing but to move around the same place, but today you did well. Good Work DUDE!
36:15 look at the cute Kei car. Someday I hope to own one. Some of these houses are so big they looks like apartment buildings. I wish I can take a look inside 😬
am surprised in Japan, Mercedes are very popular with well off people. I thought Lexus and Acuras would be the dominant vehicles here or Japanese brands
Shoto is an upscale residential district near Shibuya station. I have never been there. Thank you for taking us to the Shoto district with you. I enjoyed so much watching this walking tour.
I love Japan and love the culture and traditions of the Japanese people, especially the Japanese girls are beautiful, gentle and gentle, well-groomed and honest, I like Japanese girls very much. From: Kingdom Of CAMBODIA 🇰🇭🇰🇭
I visited Osaka and have great memories of my trip. I would love to one day go back to see a Grand Sumo Tournament in Osaka, since I have friends there. Japan has so much to offer. I live in Hawaii. Hawaii has a lot to offer Japanese vacationers. One day soon, hopefully, we will welcome our Japanese friends back to visit without government road blocks for travelling due to Covid. It has been too long.
Danke.👌
These houses are huge by Japanese standards, but only upper-middle class in the West. Notice that they are all crammed together side by side and have no windows and no view. A few have enclosed gardens probably with open glass doors, but certainly no lawns, which is in keeping with the Japanese esthetic. The Japanese generally don't entertain at home--have you seen any parking lots? Also, for a condominium, a (just ONE!) parking space is NOT included in the price of the unit. The big question is, what do they look INSIDE, e.g. @ 25:57 WTH?
So the whole area has a somewhat understated elegance about it compared to the celebrities residential district you showed in the other video, isn't that so? As a side note, it seems even around expensive properties like these, land (like gardens or such) is pretty sparse - is it because it's Tokyo or land is rationed everywhere in Japan? I enjoyed watching and I didn't have to wait much for this input either .. 😇. Nice work!
Thanks for watching🙂 , yes you are right ,however in other part of japan land is much cheaper compare to Tokyo and usually outside of Tokyo people own much larger properties
If we love watching these videos we have to watch this channel even more. The content of this channel is good. And even though I live in the Netherlands , I do wanna say, subscribe and smash that like button good people! 👍
You know i was running short on time so i put the speed to 2x, it just doesnt feel right, the camera bopping dont feel right, so i just put it back to 1x speed.
I see that Japan is like the U.S.- the POLITICIANS live in upscale residential districts. Please donate to their re-election campaign so they can pay their mortgage and continue to live in an upscale residential district.
