As an Xpat I lived in Wellington many years ago with my husband & it would be fair to see many changes have taken Place. Good to see video's of my homeland & I thank you 4 sharing however it would be good t see some form of written short descriptions of where one is & area's passed through to get to City centre of Wellington. Loved this city and it holds many happy memories as well. We lived around Mt Victoria back in the 60's & it was such a glorious happy place & busy as, no fear of outbreaks of so called virus's - everyone that wanted to work DID. Coffee bars open all hours of the nights - Folk Singers galore, picture theatre's a plenty. People today do not know how good it was then IT WAS A SAFE CITY TO BE IN & most Kiwi were HAPPY with their life. amene
Me too, born in Lower Hutt 1959, and raised in Petone then in Wainuiomata. Going to Wellington was always special with what funds we had, I get your point.
