How did he never get prosecuted by the law for drunk driving? And how did she not sue him for her injuries once he divorced her?
@bhh8005
@bhh8005 6 месяцев назад
Most likely a mistake by the writer. But if the statue of limitations is as example six years or 2190 days. She can wait to day 2190 before she gets him prosecuted and sue him for injuries, 5 years is only 1825 days. 2 she realized that he is a psychopath and that court cases could delay the divorce months to years even if she won.

"I'm sorry for ruining your life now that it's coming back to bite me in the butt, but you don't want me to be miserable, too. Right?!" "Actually, that's EXACTLY what I want! Now, be a good little narcissist and enjoy futilely trying to keep your life together while proclaiming loudly that 'It's not fair that I should have to lose everything just because I drove drunk, forever cost my ex-wife the use of her legs, then left her for being a paraplegic'! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you do. Thanks!"

Nepotism hires are risky, if there is a problem with the hire you should have been aware of it brings your competency in your position into question. He does not get a pass if the firing issues are things that would have been caught on a background check like the drunk driving crash would have.

@whistlerwind7422
@whistlerwind7422 6 месяцев назад
Her CEO husband may be able to fire Tyler, but he can be sued by Tyler for interfering with his ability to gain employment. And if Tyler's FIL is fired, Mr. CEO deserves to be sued again, and I bet the company wouldn't survive much longer. I feel sorry for what happened to her, but punishing an innocent party just to fulfill her revenge is disgusting. Guilt by association is BS. In the end she's no better than him. I have no compassion for her at all.
@tamakunminnip2117
@tamakunminnip2117 6 месяцев назад
As far as Tyler is concerned the CEO could use the fact that he is bad for the company's image as a reason to have had him fired as he was responsible for a drunk driving accident that led to the paralysis of his wife who he then divorced for being paralyzed. As this company was established in order to help people who are in wheelchairs or have had limbs amputated live more independent lives it would look very bad for the company to have someone like Tyler working for it. As for his father-in-law he could be fired on the grounds that a background check was not done on his son-in-law probably on his request or if the company did not allow nepotism hires I eat Tyler was only hired because father-in-law had a high-ranking position. Also in the US in a right to work state you can fire someone for any reason you want and they can't sue you for it (arguably a very dumb setup that allows bigots to getaway with firing someone just cause they don't like them) as on the termination letter there doesn't have to be a reason listed so they can't prove whatever reason they're trying to say it was for. Now in a right-to-work state there would need to be a reason listed and even then the CEO could still use what I said above about it being bad for the company's image as a reason to fire him.
@whistlerwind7422
@whistlerwind7422 6 месяцев назад
@@tamakunminnip2117: I'm not arguing whether he can be fired or not. All I'm saying is the CEO cannot interfere with his ability to have gainful employment, no matter what state he lives in. And regardless of the state, the FIL still has a case. And the vindictive bitch can also be named as a defendant.

Yes, this Vickie is a very vindictive beast. Tyler's father-in-law really can't be blamed, so getting him fired is just plain stupid and heartless. I don't like either Tyler or Vickie. And this whole thing about the accident not having been seen into by the police and the law, I agree with the other comment writers that this is more than strange. No brain behind this story, just mindless vengeance.
@tamakunminnip2117
@tamakunminnip2117 6 месяцев назад
If Tyler's father-in-law got him hired there without a normal interviewing process (no background check) then yes the CEO is well within his rights to fire him (in a situation were the accident and DUI charge was actually on record). With the info given well I agree with you that firing the FIL was going to far.

How was he not arrested for a DUI thats the very first thing that would of happened after going to the hospital and being cleared. The first part of this story WOULD never happen if there was a drunk driving accident where she went to the hospital. His BUTT would be in jail !!!!
