【British Railways】Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Cab Ride View (Shottle - Wirksworth) 

I first heard of the railway way back in the 1980's watching a video with a promo for the Cam Camwell collection of a trip for enthusiasts in the late 1950's and of course the footage was in B&W. In those days amateur cameramen only got about 90 seconds of film footage on a tiny reel. The loco being used for the trip was an L&Y 2-4-2T. I like this cab though at a nice slow relaxed pace not that you have much choice in an 08.

Just went to the railway today as of typing this and it was most defiantly a pleasant experience.

Good video. What was the motive power used on this particular video? Obviously a diesel electric of some description.
