I'm so glad they added the timestamp titles inside the videos. Letting people type out the combo, and being able to visually see the combo written out like that is fantastic, and makes it so much easier to understand with newer characters or unfamiliar characters with their combos. Fantastic stuff!
Wow. Kefla and UI Goku made me think Arcsys would be strict with combo structure in future dlc, not allowing anything really interesting. Roshi has proven me wrong. Amazing stuff

Roshi is honestly going to become the all time most clutch anchor character because he seems to have so many TODs just by himself. He is so insane I love his gameplay and his combos are a wonder to behold.
always preferred the sub name of Muten Roshi. Master Roshi just sounds like one word, and as far as translation goes it's kinda like saying "RIP in peace" since Roshi means master.
I've been practicing some corner stuff with Roshi, but I find it difficult given he has no super dash, especially when I try some corner stuff with my other two teammates, Videl and Yamcha (or substitute Videl for Super Saiyan Vegeta). Thank you Xiao for taking time out of your schedule to finding combos for every character in the game.
So much damage! He can literally TOD you without assists, without Limit Break, without DHC, and with only level 1 sparking! I can't think of any other character in the game that can do something like that
I thought it would be even cooler if Piccolo can return Mafuba like how he did it on Tenkaichi against Kami. Probably doesn't make sense from a gameplay standpoint, but a dramatic finish like that could be interesting.

EXCUSE ME?! None are lackluster. The music in DBFZ is another testament to how good Arc System Works' music department is. You don't need bring something down to praise something else.
The only good themes are for Roshi, 18, Tien, Krillin, Supah Broly, Videl, Trunks, Hit, Black, and Yamchad (and maybe Goldku). Most others are just atmospheric.

I'm not the only combo maker, so he'd probably be well explored by then. Look around a bit for others' combo videos, especially on Twitter. But for my own enjoyment of the character, I will be avoiding watching any of those until later...

You should do a collaboration with clayton Chapman. You're both incredibly good at doing combos and the combined genius will definitely get you two more noticed.
There is no way I'm not using him as an anchor. Good zoning, many ways to mix you up including the easiest crossup that doesn't need spark to do mid blockstring, a slow but difficult to react command grab, great assists, DPs for days, this old man has so much on his belt😰 Oh and damage... Yeah we can't forget about that...
I just wanna say. I haven't even finished watching the video yet... That first combo was inhuman, will I try to do it? Yes. Will I get frustrated and rage quit? Yes. Will I regret it? 100% Why am I torturing myself? I may be a masochist or I just love master roshi.

He said in one of his videos that he isint doing Gogeta because he's played out. There were a ton of people already doing cool and flashy combos with him even before the patch. He said he'd just be repeating what other people are doing and it wouldint be as impressive so he skipped Gogeta and went to DBS Broly
@@SabreSmasher Yea it's pretty much like that. Thanks for answering. I wasn't able to play over the week when he was first released, and his combo structures were pretty much set since then. Maybe I can try again now due to some frame data change, but I highly doubt it changes him conceptually. The changes are more of "getting more reps in the same old combos" kind, instead of "having more different routes".
It probably fits a game mode more than a theme during battle. Like if there's a dojo mode in the game where you learn things or take challenges under Muten Roshi, I can imagine this playing in the background.
