@@Marksmen17 You should check Sakaki's "Battle with Credo" fight and "Battle with Credo" leftovers videos. Sakaki was straight up mimicking Credo's moves by using reversals, like how he imitates Nero in prologue of DMC4.
@Crazy Cart_533 I guess you don't know about the invincibility frames within the game, he's within the JCE radius, JCE can even completely bypass the Block (imperfect timing of Royal Guard block)
@IIISixStringIII in order to write "any" you need to press 3 keys. In order to write "n e" you also have to press 3 keys. So, this replacement doesn't make typing easier.
Not really cuz dante is one of those not perfect characters out there and gets impaled once in every game so both of them being hit and having a hard time makes more sense like it was shown in cutscene.
*Translation of vid desc (bump this so people can read please?):* *_Sakaki:_* _Bilibili video site started a Vergil event like TST, so I was requested to provide a promotional footage as an honoured guest._ Tournament (Dante section): www.bilibili.com/video/av52991519 -------------- If the previous video is a dramatic and stylish version of Vergil fight, then this fight (especially the latter half) is *Sakaki's true style:* Not finding openings to counter opponent's attacks, but *dancing with opponents and playing with them.* So many graceful interaction using various moves as evades, for example: 1:34 ~ 1:37 1:43 ~ 1:48 2:43 ~ 2:50 2:57 ~ 3:02 -------------- It really reminds me of Sakaki's amazing Credo fights. Given how much less aggressive Vergil is compared to Credo, this is a pleasant surprise, since there weren't as much in the previous Vergil fight.
@IIISixStringIII If you haven't watched, highly recommend watching Sakaki's "Battle with Credo" and "Battle with Credo leftovers", they were even more amazing because of the fact that he wasn't even using evades to dance, but through manipulation of Dante's hitboxes and enemy AI. He did another Credo fight for Wyvern MOD as well in 2018, which while isn't stictly better than his 2014 work, but very, very different. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h01X9ZshJyQ.html
You can even see him trying to do so reversals, he does miss them a lot lol. I wish he would do Vergil fight with Bantam/Flintwheels evading JCE and JC's.
@@xenowarrior282 Actually, no. "sakakiさん" would be the correct form of address. This is just typical weebery. If you're speaking English, you use the English standard. If you're speaking Japanese, you use the Japanese standard. Don't be an idiot.
@@raykenredgrave5692 ahh, yeah, I forget the quotes - I remember it was mentioned in an older game, just didn't remember exactly which was the older sibling
The video is now 2 years old, to the day. Still incredible. I can't even begin to describe how much this video means to me, so I'll give you the short of it. Thank you Sakaki. Thank you so much.
1:59 Vergil: Stop moving! Dante: *Keeps moving that Vergil struggles to keep up* Dante: Stop moving! Vergil: *Gets royal guard released out of his Devil Trigger before he could even move*
There r moves for dante that gives him invincibility frames, the bike has two moves, balrog has two, and cerberus has only 1 if i remember correctly (ice age)
It's an i-frame on Cavaliere R. Dante has several moves that has i-frames Dante's Bantam and Flintwheel on Balrog One with Cavalier R as shown in this video. One with Coyote (back+forward GS style button) Hat trick from Dr.Faust also has I-frames I think..but could be wrong here.
I can barely follow just these watching, couldn’t think of how good you’d have to be to basically predict every single move, before Vergil’s even made it...
Smokin Sexy Style, in its purest, uncompromised form. Quadruple S, indeed. You're an inspiration to both character action and fighting game enthusiasts alike with this show of skill. The execution of knowing the frame data of everything, being able to charge SDT and have it ready at a moment's notice (confident that you won't get distracted and/or get hit), the crazy and innovative... yet somehow incredibly efficient combos, the list goes on and on. All of this is to say that stuff like this is up there with Moment 37 in my books. Aspirational.
I don't know why sakaki has disappeared, and his offline friends don't know what he's up to. And the time of disappearance is around the time of the pandemic, which is worrying, but it's hard to do anything about it.
3:06 Virgil: "If that bastard says 'SWORDTRICK' ONE MORE TIME!" Dante: "ROYAL GUARD!" *Release* "WOOHOO!" Virgil: *Death imminent* "I Think i preferred swordtrick..."
I love it, but not as much as the first one. That being said, there's still a lot to unpack. I'm especially fond of 0:47 and 1:02. It's some simple, old school, DMC3-style Royal Guard action. The Quadruple S cancel off of Full Throttle was spectacular! I suspected it in the last one, but now I'm almost positive of what's going on during the transition into phase three. That taunt is causing Vergil to respond (as he sometimes does to taunts), giving you enough time to erase the clone. It's just so nuanced. It's a pleasure to watch you play. ありがとう。
After watching some Dante video I can sure that you are better than Donguri in DMC 5 But both of you two are the level that is nearly impossible for me to reach
Vergil: Prepare... to di-EAUURGHHH!! Vergil: Fine then. My sword Yamato can cut through dimensions and reality itself, let's see how you deal with--- Dante: Hey bro, check out my bike up close. Vergil: *Jumps off of the Qliphoth tree*
