The game is a Chinese college project and 90% of the characters are creators' classmates.😂😂😂 He now work for Tencent the world's biggest gaming company but sadly you don't see any game created by him anymore.
In case if you're wondering what is this: It's a Chinese indie fighting game made in 2009, a time when indie games weren't as big as it is today. It's made by only one guy iirc (and ofc he asked a lot of friends for help with all those characters) I remember reading an interview of his on a magazine when I was still in middle school, he just really likes fighting games so he decided to make one as a hobby project. And damn youtube algorithm really just takes me here for a nostalgia ride
I love that they all recreated actual characters from fighting games. Like, the intro is straight-up a recreation of KOF 97 or 98, and the one woman is doing all of Iori's moveset. The first guy is Kyo. Pretty neat!
game was made back in 2006, the cast were mostly Dong Dong himself and his friends, but most of them quited the dev team before game was completed. This is the ultimate love letter from a true fan of arcade fighting games and pop cultures
