I went to the Tokyo Flea Market on the 3rd June. It is held almost every June and November, and this time the location is the National Showa Memorial Park in Tachikawa, Tokyo. It is located in the suburbs about an hour from Tokyo Station by rapid train.
Unfortunately, due to a typhoon, it rained in the morning. We delayed the start of the event, but as one would expect from Tokyo, there were people, and people. However, the park was incredibly spacious, so the crowds were not that big of an issue.
Various genres of used tools, used clothes, used books, etc. are all here. As for the vessels, I personally thought there were more cute and fashionable Japanese and Scandinavian goods than antiques.
There are various commercial facilities around Tachikawa station (including IKEA! It is a suburban area, right?)
So you will not be able to stop shopping even before or after the flea market. Be careful. LOL!
