The lyrics of this song was written by Zhou Shen. All the songs in the new album have deep meaning and reflect the many different sides of Shen Shen. People get hurt everyday both physically and emotionally, on personal or national level. Some get scarred for life, often the once healed wound would still bleed even after a long time. Zhou Shen taught us how to stitch up the wound, enhancing the healing processes by accepting and co-existing with it, to overcome the pain and look on the bright side in a positive and proactive way. Learn to love yourself more and don't be too harsh on yourself, because you are worth it. His song is always uplifting, comforting and sending out positive vibes. Love it as people often find solace and peace after listening to his songs.

Zhoushen involved in writing meaningful lyrics even In this song “Fixing you” he collaborated the writing the lyrics with WongXi. Zhoushen composed the melody for “The Mask” Personally his second album is Golden Life Meditation Album.

To me, Zhou Shen is a poet, a story teller and like a painter using his brush on a canvas to tell his story. Zhou Shen paints his with his beautiful voice, his facial expressions and body language. As a non-Chinese speaker, even without the subtitles I can "feel" the message of the song. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 . Thank you for reacting and sharing this artist's work to the world.

Basically some of the lyrics is written in the so called Classical Chinese or Ancient Chinese style. In this style, each character is a word and all prepositions and function words are minimized so it looks very succinct and mostly easier for matching and parallel. For example the lyrics "Desertion (by the) doorway, lonely walk (in the) corner" can be vaguely matched with its Chinese version word by word. The Classical Chinese style is not used in the daily life but it could appear in the literature for some purpose and could be understood by most well-educated Chinese.

My understanding is that each chinese character represents a word. So there must be millions of chinese characters that they must be able to remember. I don't know how they do that.
