From the very first project I ever saw this ML in, he CONSISTENTLY (not always) chooses nuanced characters to portray that exhibit real depth and are capable of profound and meaningful growth. The FL too was a person with ORDINARY, not extraordinary faults, who was deceived by a seemingly kind face and sweet words, but she wasn't an idiot. The ML gave her NONE of that, but still managed to be where her heart lay, because raw and brutal he might have been, but her instinct sensed his sincerity. With enough evidence thrust into her face, she eventually saw the visage of the TRUE devil. Aside: Chef's kiss. This was excellent work.

Zhen Zi Qi is getting so good in acting. This female lead matched him. This drama plot is good. The rest of the cast r good too.😊

Zhen Ziqi is my favorite. My sister makes fun because I will only watch him with original audio and read the subtitles. I watch a lot of these videos. Always with subtitles. I love his voice and I love how in the movies I have seen he is always a tough guy. But you always see the soft side of him when it comes to his woman. Awesome!!

I remember the first Zhen ZiQi drama I saw, all of the Chinese comments said that he was so ugly. I was so confused because he is a ridiculously attractive, masculine man. I guess beauty standards are different here, but I love seeing all the positive comments now, because he totally deserves them! I hope he can do some bigger roles soon!

ML: Zhen Ziqi FL; Zhao Xixi Love the storyline of the drama. As usual Zhen Ziqi(ML) exemplifies enacting bad boy roles. His silken voice and hot kisses will have your heart racing. Applause for the production team for creating this high quality drama. I won't reveal the storyline here because if I reveal the twist then there will be no fun in watching a movie like drama. Direction, editing, casting, script writing, screenplay writing and acting is of par excellence in the Chinese vertical drama world. PS: Pleased to see Zhen Ziqi clean shaven without a hint of morning beard or bags under his eyes.

When it’s zhen ziqi you know he’ll slayed. But one who stood on par with him is the FL. I love her for this character. She’s perfect for this role. Cant imagine anyone else playing it. She nailed her character as well. Oh boy their kisses were fire 🔥🔥🔥. They have matured and passionate “unspoken” interaction. The tension though; it burns. At 24:50, did he just lick her neck?? Tell me I did not see it wrongly 🫣🫣🫣. And I love the way he hug/hold her at 43:30. It seems harmless yet so sexy.

It's funny how ppl in these dramas are always so quick to "know" how or who a person is, especially when they don't even knowing them. It's easy to blame and target Jeremy bc of his cold, honest/straightforward and domineering personality(given his origin and the fact that he's everyone's least favorite doesn't help either). PPl who've experienced the same pain like Jeremy usually act that way to protect themselves(emotionally & mentally) from everybody else and if everyone around you believes and expects that that's who you truly are(vicious and heartless)... why not be that? Jeremy has soft/caring side, all he needs is a little love and support from someone... anybody. Jeremy is wolf and he doesn't hides it... Samuel on the other is a wolf in sheep's clothing, which makes him more dangerous bc you don't see him coming, which is why ppl always suspected Jeremy and never him. Tbh, I think the FL, along with most ppl in these dramas are a little naive. Just bc Jeremy is a wolf doesn't mean I'd easily trust his brother either, especially when I myself know nothing about him and you'd think she'd know that best considering she's a top notch lawyer. You should never judge a book by it's cover lol like most criminals are always in disguise and you'll never know until they get caught. Hell, I'd be cautious around all of those rich folks bc the evil things they'll do to get to the top(as if they're not rich enough already)... just greedy😂

I'LL LOVE YOU JEREMY(Zheng Zi Qi)!! Although I don't agree with his behavior, he's the way he is due to how he's been brought up and the way ppl treat him... like he said, he doesn't know love bc he's never been given it, everyone despises him and you can only imagine the affect that can have on someone let alone a child. It's like I understand why the FL might not trust him, but she's not so innocent herself and like a naive child, she's so quick to trust Samuel without any judgment... Jeremy might be cold, but he's also honest & smart and I wouldn't have been so quick to blow him off without looking into Samuel. She might be book smart, but not people smart bc lil Sammy was a little psycho😇😈 Not trying to be that person buuut... did she ever apologize to Jeremy?? Despite everything that's happened, she was wrong about him, so I hope there was an apology in there somewhere... it was probably off the record lol she just seems like a prideful person(not surprising given her title).

Ok, yes, ML's voice is smoking hot! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This drama may be the first of his that I stopped and came back later to finish. NOT because of ML's acting, but I felt the storyline was a bit dull in parts. Is it worth watching yes, but would I stay up alnight to watch it, like I have done in past, no.😮
