"Burnt by the fire just to grow higher. One falls, another rises" I'm thinking this refers to Xie Lian's fall by banishment and then Hua Cheng's subsequent rise to becoming a devastation ghost in the fires of Mt. Tonglu. *Sigh* such a good story
