Hello I love your voice so much!! I have request though, could you please do Wuji? I been trying to find closest translation to English of Wuji. But each translation is totally different. So, I wanted an English translation based on the original chinese version so that the meaning of the song can be known; it's really important to know it's unqiue meaning that tells a story of WangXian. I wonder if it's possible with you? It's ok if you are busy and aren't able to 🤗. Love you and ur amazing voice!!

It's really interesting cause I've seen this song translated in 2 ways: one is from Hua Cheng's POV and the other is Xie Lian's. I think the Hua Cheng version makes more sense (look up "Red Supreme" at Puqi Shrine), but this version is great too.

I found this after listening to your English cover of 忘羡, As a Mandarin speaker I really appreciate how the lyrics translated into English seamlessly! Also this pulled me back into the head space I had while reading the novel, which is absolute pain and suffering sobs fjsbdhsb Also the lyrics "Leading me into a city of flowers" is a genius wordplay by the lyricist, loved that!

"A single string of red will lead me to a city of flowers" ok but this is such a nice touch - warning: minor spoilers to book 3 I guess?- In book 3 Hua Cheng uses the red string on tied on his finger and connects it to one of xie lian's fingers, to make sure that even if they get lost or are separated from each other, they can still find each other using the red string. And Hua Cheng's name translates to flower city or city of flowers so the line " A single string of red will lead me to a city of flowers " is so literally true lol.

@@devonc8909The official english translation by seven seas is at 8 volumes now, I believe this last one will be out sometime by december. The author also recently revised the chinese version and a new edition with story xhanges and additions is out, but not avaliable in english. Fans are translatings snippets of it on Twitter

I agree that a cover of Wuji would be amazing with her angelic voice, however those lyrics were VERY different from the original meaning of the song. Just so you know, this wasn't the correct translation 😉 But this version was amazing and I've added the vid to my favorites 💕

If you want an English version of Wuji that is pretty close to the original, I would recommend you check out this one! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jv6vA0w3dsw.html But yeah, I decided to scrap the original lyrics for this song and make ones that follow the story. I'm glad you all like them though!
