All I can think about is..." *Morphs into Gudako* Gudako: "GACHA! GACHA GACHA GACHA GACHA YAHOOOO!!" Nightingale: "This is the worst disease I've ever seen! I MUST AMPUTATE YOUR HEAD IMMEDIATELY!"

No amount of therapy is going to save Ritsuka especially after the Lostbelts. Nightingale might be right, that the only cure for him at then end of the journey is death...or some harem shenanigans.

I wish FGO would delve more into his psyche. He is taking on a tremendous pressure that would shatter men 3 times his age, and he has seen countless innocents and friends get slaughtered right in front of him.

Imagine the anxiety and fear a person would have when they were told they were the last hope for humanity. Now increase that sevenfold for having to undergo missions which they know WILL result in the extinction of humanity should they fail. Honestly this is just too much for one person to handle. A fan fiction by GhostXavier called Fragments of Chaldea perfectly depicts the journey throughout the singularities, it is a really good read, check it out if you want.

I normally don't think of Nightingale as best girl or waifu material, but... Seriously though, this was a touching comic. She's right, he could have signs of ptsd, or have repressed depression or mania, and her VA did a good job of conveying the emotion of her concern. Yet he still has a duty to uphold for the sake of others. Work with police and soldiers, and this is a concern for their family's every day, and yet they still strap on their gear and head out. Well done

Nightingale is correct. The master known as Ritsuka has experienced so much pain and suffering (Especially in the Lost Belts), and has never been approached to fix their problems. They bottled up their emotions as they press forward with a duty they feel obligated to do, they feel entitled to do so no matter how much pain it brings them. In so their soul slowly crumbles from the realms of reality, always pushing themselves for that "One Last Time"...

Now Imagine the Dark Mash Timeline.... Can you think how certain Servants would react when Mash tells them Ritsuka is dead? And not by accident, not during a Mission to preserve the world they all fought for.... But dissected by the Mage Association to learn how he managed to 'control' so many Servants to try to extract whatever 'mysterious ability' in his DNA or Magical Circutry that they might be able tor replicate it, give it to 'proper' Mages and those from Established Mage Families. Failing to grasp entirely that the ability was simple kindness, his heart, and his desire to respect the Servants as people and individuals rather that tools or weapons.... Some would understand, Artoria, EMIYA, Jeanne, many of the 'Noble Good' Servants would accept that he wouldn't want them to take revenge against the Humanity that he struggled so hard to save... That he likely KNEW what was coming for him when he left, and rather than involve them all in a war with the Mages Association and killing again just to save his own Life, he simply left saying 'I'll be back soon.' It was a lie, one he needed to tell, and those that could accept that would return to the Throne upon learning his fate I'm sure..... But then there would be the one's who would become Mashu's Army.... Nightingale, Jeanne Alter, Jack the Ripper, Mordred... Ishtar and Ereshkigal would be furious... And arguably the two who would be filled with the most quiet but terrible fury.... Altera, Ritsu was the only one who made her feel human even a bit, to lose him she'd likely become the God of Destruction once again to anything Mashu pointed at. And Gilgamesh, King of Hero's, someone who normally doesn't balk at anyone's death, and Human deaths are beneath his notice. Upon learning of Ritsu's Fate, I imagine he'd laugh at first, mocking the boy for giving in so easily.... But that laughter would fade into an icy chill, Ritsu was human, a mongrel like any other.... but he was HIS Mongrel, he fought for HIS Kingdom, and was for a time, HIS subject, Heaven and Hell itself wouldn't save them from his Wrath. They'd destroy the Mage's association to the last, any and every single thing that stood it their way would be reduced to Ash....

Honestly i want to cry after seeing this The way Nightingale saying about us is right, we are just a young boy who got invited and forced by some mages to do something that the they unable to do (rayshift,saving humanity), our path is to go through history and saving humanity but did we even notice that we probably had to far gone, like shiro who think "this is what i must do, i must do it so there's no one get hurt" Not only servant, even the mc probably has some connection or bond with all the servant he summon and everyone on chaldea, but when lostbelt had come. We seeing our dearest kouhai push herself to limit, and getting hurt just to protect us, Seeing our comrade 1 by 1 getting killed. THAT IS just to much for a young boy who just literally come to an a facility that has a mission to restore humanity to get through all of that, probably We are the best growing up character, we are the hero on our story, this is our GRAND ORDER Damn thats long, probably i forgot to add something on that but i dont have much time, cause im just a regular 15 year old boy who playing this beautiful game

I've read this and it was deep, but this made it feel better!

I really feel like Ritsuka is about to have a mental breakdown in the story, which is not something unheard of considering it is Nasu we are talking about here. The idea of knowing more about these worlds rather than just rejecting them before erasing them is definitely taking a toll on him, and there are signs of it.

I wasn't planning on crying my heart out before going to sleep. So thanks for that. Maybe i'll take a single roll for that CE after all.

A broken individual that can only move forward, and yet, the further he goes, the more broken he becomes. For being able to create a character like that and making him somewhat believable is why i love fate so much. Though FGO will never get anything from my wallet because i never had anything to put there to begin with.

This is one of my favorite FGO comics. I feel so happy seeing it dubbed. Thank you so much.

In my head I feel like this would happen if Shirou ever summoned Nightengale

When you think about it, we have been through so much hit when going through all the singularities. Plus we’re the 48th (?) master who didn’t die when shit hit the fan. Not to mention nearly getting killed at every turn, watching Mash die right in front of us, fighting comic horrors, and we aren’t even at the lost belts yet. To put it frank, we’re a bit fucked up. In the end though, a small price to pay when saving humanity I suppose.

The thing is I think Gudao gonna become something far far worse than Shirou Or Kiritsugu ever been (Possibly Beast VII END) it would be poetic (yet dark) that he maybe saved the world multiple times but no one saved him from himself

It’s videos about certain characters like this that you want to pull for so bad that when you do save enough resources to do so and they don’t show up at all makes it even more hurtful 😭

Call it what you will, but this is a natural state of mind; you're either born with it, or the brain adopts it to cope with stress and trauma. It isn't an illness per se, but it's definitely a particular way of thinking that is only useful in certain situations and detrimental in others.
