For being a Beast, this theme is incredibly heroic and inspiring. Because he's not a Beast who would destroy humanity--he became a Beast to protect humanity. He's a Beast by definition, but is the complete antithesis of what a Beast stands for--he is a Beast who eradicated mankind, but mankind willingly sacrificed themselves to empower him, and he dealt a lethal blow against ORT thanks to their sacrifice, and in doing so, provided Chaldea with the means to defeat ORT. Camazotz is the true hero of this Lostbelt.
Beasts are defined by their love for Mankind, their corruption by that love, and their culpability in taking steps to destroy humanity. Caz fits all criteria for that.
"I am the Champion of the Ka'an. The Spider-Slaying Bat. The king who forsook his crown. The weakling who could not save his world other than by sacrificing every last of his subjects." "Oh my people, my brave warriors! Was I a king good enough to give up your lives for my cause! Oh my wonderful people! Did I build a country great enough that worth sacrificing your young ones too for it? If that's the reason, then I'llll...... Aaarggh!" "I won't allow you to forget.... Forget my insanity... My people's pain... Their sacrifices... I will never ever allow you to forget.. For I am Camazotz ! Spread the word that I am the Spider Slaying Bat. The king of the brave warriors of Ka'an who threw away his crown for sake of his people! Now you shall now see proof of my kingdom's true mettle as I shed my blood in their honour!"
@@Last_Legi0n_the lines he said before into the first battle is great as well "Say my name! the brave of ca'an kingdom; the bat killed the spider; the king thrown away his crown .....the weak one who could not even save the world without the sacrifice of all of his citizens... i bet you challenge, the blood of Camazots! the true form of the terror of this Xibalba where ca'an citizen disposed their bodies!!!" i get very emotional when he say he is a weak one who could not save the world with out all the sacrifice.
His feats are even more insane with the revelations of a recent Japanese interview. Not only did he fight ORT in melee but his head, hands and body were destroyed in the process. He struck his weapon into ORT's core with NOTHING left but his right hand, and as the spider fell was reborn with one final thought: Taking ORT's heart. *THE KING OF BRAVES, EVERYONE*

First time of his debut I gotta admit that I really hate the guy... But upon the revelation of his background characterization and past, I really wish that they make him a playable servant... For now, may you rest in your eternal slumber, o King of Braves
Imagine loving someone, doing everything for them, and then, one day, something just appears out of nowhere, and you can't do nothing about it, you're not strong enough, you're not smart enough, you're just... not enough, you give everything you have, but it isn't enough to protect the people you love so much, it will never be enough, and now, the people you loved, they are not there anymore... you're fighting a war for nothing now, and on top of that, someone tells you that the people you loved so much should've never existed on the first place, that your feelings, that your love, are just a mistake from an event way bigger than you You have literally nothing else left, only the love you once felt, and now someone is telling you even that was a mistake... and yet, that's the only thing that let's you keep fighting... That is Camazotz, the Bat Beast of Oblivion, El Rey de los Valientes, El Dios de los Olvidados
The Forgotten King turned Beast, Camazotz The one who entirely shouldered the last will of humanity of the 7th lostbelt. He makes his last stand before you, Master of Chaldea. He has done more than enough for his world. He deserves his just reward. ...Defeat the Fallen Hero. End his Suffering.
The feels man Tho I would like to add that he isn't that fallen as this crazy mf was ready to fight for Pan Human History and only clashed with Guda cuz he genuinely thought guda as normal human won't be able to save em from this situation. There were no hard feelings
@@ultimatepredatorx2937 Midir fucking *wishes* he got the kind of narrative treatment Camazotz got. Nasu is just WAY better of a writer than, Miyazaki.
Camazotz, the King of Braves and Last Ruler of Ka’an. The man empowered by the sacrifice of all of humanity, who became an imperishable being to fight the Almighty Spider of the Oort Cloud for countless years. He tore out its heart and achieved a worthless victory; a victory where he found himself with nothing, a victory that left him a maddened and tarnished Beast, a victory where the enemy wasn’t even vanquished. Yet his effort still held meaning and his victory was the first stone cast that led to the Spider’s fall.
@@sommyaruproy8405 I read the info from the wiki entry for the South American Lostbelt, that Camazotz fought for 100,000 years. I don’t exactly have full official translation for the setting of LB7, so that’s what I’m using as a source.
It's been pointed out somewhere else, but in the first fight with Beast Camazotz, the intro line is glitching. It originally reads Evil of Humanity - Salvation (among other things), but when it stops glitching it reads Evil of Humanity - Oblivion.
Looks menacing as all hell. Is actually the saviour of the world. Became a Beast out of necessity than by choice. There's absolutely no doubt he loves humanity. Easily the best character in the entire LB. He already had the best design, but then he got the full package. Make him the anniversary servant, I wouldn't even be mad. Dude already went crazy from despair after finding out the old humanity he loved was no more. Now imagine finding out that, after everything you loved sacrificed itself so you can shut down Alien Doomsday after fighting it and repeatedly dying for millions of years, it was all for nothing because the world you live in isn't even meant to exist in the first place, and some random group has come to erase it. The level of anger and despair would be unimaginable. "I'm going to be the last Master of Humanity!". Before LB 7.2 - Yeah whatever. After LB 7.2 - Yeah, and you deserve to be too! Even after he got beaten, he still saved Nitocris from falling. Camazotz deserves his rest. The only dissapointing thing is that he never got witness ORT's defeat.
well he doesn't had any rivalry with ORT because ORT is a being normal human and he can't understand. he only cares for human history, that's why he want to become new master of humanity and protect this world i.e scroll even though this scroll is blank.
@@HerMi.T Although that's true and he has no connection to ORT, I'd have just liked the thought that he gets to see this thing he gave his all to stop finally get put down.
This. This is why I bloody love the Lostbelts. It's not cut and dry, right and wrong. Camazotz fights to the last for what he believes in, which is categorically right and understandable. He's lost so much, just like Chaldea has, and just like them he will call on whatever power he needs to stay on his feet till tye bitter end. And yet, even in defeat, he won't hold a grudge for those defending humanity, saving one of their own to give them a better chance at making it out of this alive. I was terrified of him in the opening bit, but now he is an absolute fave.
He deserves it all, be playable, be in arcade, have an anime, a collab with MH, a collab in DMC, IRL merch, a commemorative day, one sick edit AMV video, a Friking sandwich, a cameo and mention in any Batman related content, one bottle of suchan sauce, and fight for humanity in Records of Ragnarok and much more.
They would never give us a cool anniversary servant the same year as their debut, honestly. Only real exception to this pattern was when they decided to just say fuck it, no anni gacha, it's the gotterdammerung 2 banner this year, and that didn't exactly please people. We wait. He held out much longer.
Nasu did say Draco was the only Pan-Human History Beast that could be neutralized as a Beast. In other words she is the only PHH Beast that can become playable as a Beast. But Camazotz isn’t from Pan-Human History
@@shalltearbloodfallen8204 also nasu said "grand cannot be divine spirits" also nasu later on puts tezcatlipoca as grand assasin 😂 because he liked the idea
The hero of his humanity, he loved humanity and did the impossible to honor their sacrifice, he suffer and got insane but to me his very existence proves the worth of his mankind. There is small chances but I would like him to be summonable, deep down he and Fujimaru are not that different, they could get along well.🦇
This lostbelt truly is a question to who rules the planet. The one who looks at the Past? Presnent? Or Future? Or the one who is not from the planet itself.
In terms of power coming from one being, ORT's the star's ruler. In terms of quantity of followers, that position's for Tezcatlipoca. In terms of genuinly deserve the position of Planet Dominator, that goes for Camazotz
That's honestly sad he became a Beast cause he incidentally fit the conditions, he loved humanity but it was his people's love that was seen as corrupt because they sacrificed their precious lives to help Camatotz. I can't wait for the translations but he seems like a berserk, guilt ridden but good aligned character. My favorite! If he's berserker we got our candidate for Grand (than the actual one ) after all.
You know, at the end of part 1 when Camazotz said that he want to take our place as Humanity's Last Master and restore the Human Order, I thought that he's just an upstart that don't know his place. But after finished the last part... I think he kinda deserve it. Like dude, I don't mind to travel and save the world together with him. He care about human, He love humanity, He saved the world with the power of Persistent and Courage, He got Protagonist voice, he also have a very Good Guy-ish BGM. I really wish he got his place in the throne of heroes after this LB, because if he didn', then I gonna sue the Counterforce.
He definitely deserved it. After all, it was only because of him that Chaldea even lives to tell of its encounter with ORT. Never mind actually putting the damn thing down (which only Kukulkan could do anyway)...
I am glad that he is popular in English-speaking countries.a king who became a beast after loving his people. We are looking forward to the implementation. From a Japanese master.

Can you even imagine? Spending millions of years fighting an unstoppable force with only the trademark you got is immortality. You die and resurrected over and over. Camazozt did all of that. He is his people last hope and he would cherish it to the end.
@@oldcowbb Pretty much. If you want to know more I can provide more context regarding Camazotz past on this Lostbelt. *SPOILER* *ALERT* Some context first - *ORT* is the asteroid that ended the *Cretaceous* *Period* the age of dinosaurs, 66 ml years ago. It took a lot of damage upon impact that it went in recovery mode for a long time. Earth didn't recover as the surface continue to burned. 40 ml years later, ORT awaken and begin its onslaught. In this time period, humanity have evolved way earlier and was flourishing into a proper civilization. All of that ended when ORT came knocking around. In order to salvage what they can. The humans initiated a *MASS* *SACRIFICE* . This was a way for them to empowered their last king Camazotz with *immortality* . And so the ultimate challenge undergoes for more than millions of years. ORT is really an unstoppable force as it didn't sustain any damage or anything whatever Camazozt thrown at it. The bat-god didn't give up no matter how many times he died and resurrected. He calculated, strategized and planned for a long time to know his opponent moves and maybe find a weakness. In one stroke, he achieved by ripping out the heart/core from the body. This made ORT shut down like machine. It was never killed but put it into asleep. Camazotz may have won the battle but he lost his people. Humans were no longer around and this have driven the bat-god into despair and madness. Thus when Chaldea fought him he succumbed in becoming a Beast without a number. He is the Beast of Oblivion. A tragic hero nonetheless that given all.
Dude, Camazotz is the real MVP and gigachad in this lostbelt. He helped us out a lot more than we imagined in this lostbelt. He more than proved his worth.
When humanity is saved by its greatest enemies. Honestly, LB7 is full of plot twists, where supposed enemies become the greatest allies. Beast I Camazotz, Beast VII U-Olga Marie, and ORT Kukulkan.

A man who was beloved by his people, and who carried the undying loyalty of his subjects with him across six million years. A man who, fuelled by that love and an unyielding determination to protect his world and honour the ultimate sacrifice of his followers, fought the avatar of mankind's destruction for countless millennia - until finally accomplishing the impossible. A man who became a Beast out of desperate necessity, the inheritor of his world's will and the sole proof that his civilisation ever even existed, raging against the prospect of their annihilation. O wrathful king. O noble king. O, glorious, esteemed and peerless King of Braves. Your rage shall be quelled. Your torch shall be carried. Your name will be remembered.

A theme fitting for a king who gave it his all, despite the heavy prize that came with it. And despite the fact it didn't matter in the end. Rest easy my man, here's to hoping you'll be summonable one day, gacha gods willing.
It might not have mattered in that sense, but his actions were not meaningless. The only reason we had a chance against ORT was because of what he did weakening it and then with its core becoming Kukulkan too. Were it not for Camazotz, we wouldn't have been able to win. In his own way, he saved his humanity and PHH too.
Iskandar's ideal of king was a shame compared to Camazotz actions. This what Artoria was trying to achieve. But other kings just mock her ideal of justice. To shoulder it all, even in despair, knowing no hope shall arrive, he strife forward, in madness he succumb, millions of years passed, a king turned to a beast, for a salvation that never existed in the beginning. Yet, a brilliant path of a king, is never about Gold, Joy, Laughter, or rule. Even when its all turn into an endless road of lonliness, he kept on shouldering it all. He loves them, he carried their hope and legacy. This is why I could never liked Iskandar in the first place, but this is why I immediately liked Camazotz. Hell, I wouldnt even mind if he gained access to GRAND BERSERKER. I couldnt care less about Grand Foreigner or Tezca. We knew Camazotz is the only berserker we needed.
@@GALERI_GPIB Fate Zero was poorly written. Iskandar has the charisma but even his ideal is flawed. Do you know what he said in his deathbed from what said by Hephaestion? Kuku's theme is also a remix funnliy enough I always why lostbelt 7 unlike 6 doesn't have a lot of character tracks and a lot of them are remixes of each other and the anwser is simple God, Man, alien and beast were all unified in one desire To protect this world This is just not the song of Camaztoz but song of his nation And it's desire was so strong that it premiated the land and passed to many others And kuku theme basically showed in one way or another it was passed down to dino, god, and man was imbumed with this desires to there last breath
How Camazotz "defeated" ORT in LB7 (Spoilers) Before I proceed, here's a TL;DR: Camazotz is your average Soulsbourne player who is stuck with one boss for God knows how much time has passed. Mllions of years ago in this LB, humanity actually existed. And no, I'm not talking about the Deinos species, but the actual humans. Humanity in this LB had a really prosperous civilization and their societal and technological progress were high. Humanity was once a huge civilization under the Ka'an Kingdom, where Camazotz was their king (normal king, not Lostbelt King). This was prior to ORT's arrival in this LB. However, all of them fell into despair when ORT suddenly appeared and realization came that they can never defeat it, nor they can do anything about it. As a last and desperate attempt, ALL humanity in this LB decided to sacrifice themselves for Camazotz who was their king. This eventually led to Camazotz becoming the Beast of Oblivion. He has now acquired immortality and became even more powerful. Because the humanity he once ruled over (and loved) was long gone, his new objective was to fight ORT until it gets defeated. However, that was proven to be still incredibly difficult. Camazotz confronted ORT for over THOUSANDS of years, maybe even MILLIONS. He had to learn all of ORT's attacks and defenses while repeatedly DYING and REVIVING on the process. His ridiculous immortality was his saving grace. After what seems to be an eternity with fighting ORT, Camazotz eventually found a way to bypass ORT's defenses and ripped out its core or heart. This greatly weakened ORT and then went into a hibernation as if it switched to power-saving mode. This was when Camazotz finally "defeated" ORT. Camazotz then used ORT's core as the new sun for Mictlan. This eventually resumed life in this LB, especially the Deinos species. Meanwhile, ORT was in the 9th layer of Mictlan: Xibalba. It absorbed the LB Fantasy Tree and used it for sustenance. End of story. Now, I will clear some misconceptions: "Camazotz destroyed ORT" No, he didn't. He simply found a way on how to bypass ORT's defenses and ripped out its core. He was never able to completely destroy this space monster. Not to mention this took him for over thousands/millions of years. Camazotz won by a technicality. "Camazotz fought a weaker ORT" No, he didn't. Camazotz fought LB ORT who was as powerful as its PHH counterpart. LB ORT became weak AFTER Camazotz ripped out its core. Also, the notion that "LB ORT is a subspecies" is only applicable to the one that Chaldea fought, since LB ORT is now a lot weaker than its PHH counterpart at this point in time.
ORT may have had the powers of a god, but Camazotz had infinite continues and endless determination. It didn't matter how many times Camazotz lost, because he only needed to win once. And win he did.
@@Otakumanu I'm pretty sure that making comparison of ORT to that of a deity is a ridiculous notion. Aliens after all wreck them once. Camazotz only has immortality and he spent eons to find a weakness against ORT. Who knew that its heart, a powered nuclear fusion core, is it's turn off button from ripping it out from the body.
Thank you, oh Great Gigachad King for giving us a friendly ORT-Chan. May you rest well after your long fight against the crystal spider. We will take it from here.

That's sadly not possible He wants to prevent his Lostbelt from being pruned in the first place because of the fact that humanity in the Lostbelt sacrificed themselves just to have a chance of stopping ORT. He doesnt want their sacrifices to be considered a "mistake that shouldn't have existed in the first place". Which is also why he wanted to replace us as the last master of humanity. It's Britannia, you know Fate Series love their Britannia a little too much. The fact that they have their own version of Beast and Grand Servant is already funny. They maybe could have kick Britannia from Fate Series, and make the whole new Series for Britannia, call it "Le Fae" or whatever, and then include it in Nasuverse separately.
