You know, I'm disappointed in myself that I never thought to post this here... so in honor of a legendary comment thread in a previous video that hopefully some people will get the reference too: Hey guys, remember when Tiamat seemed like a threat?
I mean she is still a threat if we face her again just not on freaking ORT level lmao. After all we're all just lucky she didn't even go all out and wanted to die by humanity's hand lol.
ORT existing doesn't diminish Tiamats or any other entity's threat level. Some very incredible things (outright impossible things in modern times) had to be pulled off simply to put her in a position where she could be beaten and it was still a toss up. Didn't help her heart really wasn't in it.
@@kristenhall3327 That's the case for every Beast class entity. ALL of them require the performing the impossible to defeat. Once you're registered as a hero, nothing can remove you). Gathering all 10 rings to even USE that Noble Phantasm was supposed to be impossible, and the Grand Caster actually deciding to use it? Beast II of Regression - "The strength of multiple gods fighting her, the chains of heaven binding her, a pitfall into the underworld with Uruk itself as bait, the wrath of the underworld, and my own flowers... Beautiful if nothing else. And yet she still cannot be stopped, she has no natural enemies, she is unfamiliar with He whom I call 'Death'." That's because with every other huge enemy that Chaldea has fought so far, the way we were able to beat them was by weakening them first. ORT being at level 1 indicates that there's nothing in it for us TO weaken.
Small detail in this "battle": Most of the high power threats Chaldea faced had to be weakened in some way, from outside interference or some sort of miracle. Here, ORT is at Level 1; it literally can't BE any weaker, & it still soundly trashes everything that we throw at it.
@this city really looks like a city Not really. What Tezcalipoca did used one of his authority to 'slide' everyone in a few days to the future. This is possible considering that the underworld Mictlan is part of his domain. It is complicated but let just say - you are playing a demo of a videogame and you end up literally on the inside for a short time. That's what happened and for a while Chaldea and the rest tried their best to fend off against ORT but no avail. It eventually ignore them and goes to another target. It is half-awake but if it was fully awakened, goodbye to the whole underworld and everyone on it. Btw, the only way to defeat ORT is to physically destroy its body. It's the only way to kill it.
@@rogueascendant6611 "The only way to kill ORT is to physically destroy its body" Kinda tough when its real body is the Oort Cloud itself. Even if you apply every concept known to man.
@@cameraredeye3115 Not necessarily. You mistaken this on a different subject. ORT does not truly represent the Oort Cloud on a literal sense but on a conceptual level. Ever since this thing left it's home. It became a truly separate entity. But it still represent the Oort Cloud as a being that originally comes from there. In a nutshell, it's like the Greek Machine Gods using terminals as their host body in moving and out. Just like Arcueid who is her own person but hosting as the pseudo-Type Earth/Moon. So in a way, ORT can be beaten IF there's a way to destroy its body. If you are thinking adding a concept of death like Tiamat. That ain't gonna work buddy. Best to do is REALLY REALLY physically DESTROY its body.
@@rogueascendant6611 Yea but no one says a thing about killing It because either way trying to even destroy Its body physically Is harder than It sounds than being said. Better to keep It asleep over trying to fight an Ultimate One which no one In Chaldea or Humanity can do until the Next generation of humans aka A-Rays from Angel Notes.
@@Gareth-daupsetpuppy You do know that we need to do something about this. If Tezcatlipoca foresight do came true, it is too late to even made it back to sleep. This ain't a Beast that can't be negotiated or needing conceptual BS to find a weakness. This is an Ultimate One, the apex predator of its world, the end-bringer of planets. Reason why throwing a Black Hole by U-Olga Marie on ORT doesn't work is because it's a pseudo-form. A REAL black hole would do more damage, as in sucking the planet as well. And yeah reading the lore, this Type have the hardest skin unknown to man. Very difficult and impossible to even break it. Concepts might not work considering that ORT works on an 'alien' background that is beyond the knowledge of mankind. All that does is slow him down somewhat. Every cell in it's body can take on all of it's functions, but just with less efficiency. This means that every cell can take the function of his core. It's with the combined help of Batman and Mala, that ORT was put in a forced slumber by fooling it with its own core. Mala made ORT believe that it's core was still located in its body, thus putting it into a slumber and holding it from regenerating the entire thing.
Some people seem to got it the wrong way, ORT was never trapped in South America. Also ORT status as which is this Ultimate One of was being under the question even in the text of 2006 Character Materials, so i guess even in TsukiRe series (or more correctly especially since the Nasu reboot with Mahoyo) it was always meant to be ORT from Oort Could, tho if you will it is also a pun with Type-Mercury (cus "Suisei no Kumo" means "Spider of Mercury", besides "Cloud of Comets") in Japanese lol. But now we know why thanks to LB7.
Funny thing - NASA scientists admit they've only PREDICTED the existence of the Oort Cloud. We've never actually seen any object in the area the Cloud is supposed to exist in. It's just that it's the only explanation for long period comets, which are comets that take 200+ years to orbit our Sun. And we haven't even reached the Cloud yet - Voyager 1, in spite of traveling 1 million miles per day, is still ~300 years away from its inner edge, and its batteries will certainly be dead by then. When it _does_ reach the Cloud, it won't make it out of the area for THIRTY THOUSAND YEARS, and that's assuming it doesn't hit something on the way.
This is really a big moment that Type-Moon fans like me been waiting for after a very long time of waiting and boi they really made it real when Nasu said that this thing is supposed to be a "Secret/Unbeatable Boss".
That's why Zelrech said, " We need a few hundred years into the future until we beat him." THE GUY WHO KILLED TYPE-MOON SAID IT HIMSELF This thing is hopeless Edit: There are some idiots out here who believe Ea (Gilgamesh Enuma Elish specifically) can hurt ORT. If he could, the counterforce would have summoned him to deal with him the moment he had landed. The first thing ORT defeated was 7 brand mages and a True Ancestor. Those were the strongest beings we had at the time and got defeated in seconds. But just like Prime Muder, CF sees, currently no one capable of defeating that, and just like Atlantis spawns a lot of heroic spirits in hopes, it can be stopped at least. CF is probably prepared to summon Archetype Earth to convert Arc into Ultimate on rn, and I bet the CF is busy trying to get a huge Cast of Magus and Grands. On top of that, the concept of deleting stuff or death does not affect ORT. Human concepts like death or life DOESN'T AND CANT BE APPLIED ON ORT. It's an alien. I repeat. It's an *_ALIEN_* People *READ ANGEL NOTES* or watch a video explaining *The Ultimate ones* . The only thing ORT would make crumble is another Ultimate or something close. So Enkidu NP would damage it more than Gils. Why do you ask? Because Enkidus NP Enuma Elish represents the *breath of the planets* and gets stronger when it's facing not just gods but also threats to humanity and the planet. Why are we fighting? I'm done with this fandom. We should be on the same page, but we are all hating out here, huh?

Also the erasing part is just a *bullshit* rumor concocted by mistaken perceptive view or some troublesome trolls that just want crap to the fandom. All ORT did is the same thing known capable off. Hes like a half ultimate one. A moon, instead of a true celestial existence. Also, if you take into account size, TYPE-ORT is FARRRR stronger than TYPE-MOON. Because ORT itself has a much vaster area to compete, and therefore it's "ultimate life form" would be stronger than a meer moon. The ORT cloud is like twice the size of the solar system. Also his theme is fucking awesome
@this city really looks like a city My bad. It's been a long time since I read Notes so I assumed he was mentioned somewhere along with the other Types. It's weird he's not referenced at all
something overlooked in this lostbelt so far, is that U-olga claims that _she_ was called to the earth as well by gaia. on top of that, we know she's looking for ORT, but we don't know how much her non amnesiac form knows about it. I don't know if she was just hyping herself up, but if she wasn't joking about hearing gaia call out to her, then the implications of that are massive when factoring in that the only beings we've seen answer the call from gaia have been the ultimates (AKA beings like this one). What exactly is she really, and what ties does alien priestess have with her and ORT?
@@MrInuhanyou123 I'm starting to think alien god and ORT both have terrible timing, and arrived too early to do the jobs they were meant do do. similar to type venus, alien god seems to be getting closer to understanding (and liking) humanity than erasing it (even prior to the mind wipe, she has always felt a bit too derpy to be actually malicious). starting to believe that the next arc of grand order is going to involve the earth dying and humanity somehow working to save it from that fate before it decides to call out to the types.
@@vla1ne your misunderstanding. The signal was called out already thousands of years ago. ORT just got it early. The other types won't get it until about the year 3000. By this point Arcueid is the brain and soul of the earth. So it actually has a sentiment mind that can understand and empathize with humans now with her. So I can only assume she will now take part in fgo to protect the earth as type earth against the alien threats now that the scale of the story is beyond human threats
A Monster Can't Speak A Monster Can't Be Reasoned With A Monster Can't Be Explained Day of O.R.T. All Efforts to Save Humanity from Impending Doom But...the Future Refused to Change
@@fersho450 Ort simply does not make sense. It's the typical enemy they put out there for you to lose, but with no chance of ever getting past it. He is under his own rules and concepts, on earth he has no weaknesses, none. The current humanity literally has no way to defeat him and the only one capable of facing him is the race that succeeds the human race, that is, the human being will NEVER be able to. ORT and Primate Murder are only compared because both are under their own rules, but ORT is simply the denomination of despair and end
You can see V/V waving goodbye during the last episode of the OG Carnival Phantasm. If a TYPE can have fun, ORT can as well. In a different universe of course.
Gun God's entire world had balls of titanium to even try fighting back against an invasion force of seemingly ALL THE ULTIMATE ONES (Minus Moon, possbly) WORKING TOGETHER WITH THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF ENACTING GAIA'S LAST SPITEFUL REQUEST OF FINISHING OFF HUMANITY. in that situation, i'd just go and find the one that would delete me the fastest lmao.
To be fair, even among the TYPEs, ORT seems to be the most powerful among all of them Which makes sense, since the size of Venus is nothing compared to the Oort Cloud
ORT isn't their kind, Nasu specifically made it a planet eater now. It's possible ORT destroyed their home planet since the OORT Cloud is hypothesized to have been a planet once.
Wait... It's a regular "GRAND BATTLE"? It can't be, right? We're talking about a ultimate one. It must have a special title screen like the BEASTs or the Olympians. Right?
It seems that ORT we fight currently is kind of an illusion of Daybit's servant. SPOILER ALERT Daybit's servant, Tezcatlipoca, is almost almighty in his homeground. One of his authority is time manipulation. With this power, Tez show the future of this LB to Chaldea. And that future is the destruction of the entire planet, caused by ORT. Which means, Tez summoned future's ORT to current era, by using his time manipulating power.(for a minute, of course) That ORT is the one we can fight in the ingame part.
@@dyh6211 Wait, I have also heard that [SPOILER BELOW]. Is it also true and to which extent?? o.o; SPOILER ALERT Any Servant defeated in this fight can no longer be used for the remaining part of the Lostbelt, as per their new death animation where their body is crystallized in ORT green, shattered and absorbed into ORT. (Even in the reach of just this Lostbelt, this is immensely scary to imagine.)
It's just a scripted battle to show up the new fancy animation for 10+ break bars. You just get murdered and go on your way. No need for a title screen here.
For those who keep saying and mentioning that archetype earth can beat ort, just remember that it ain’t on your side and will gladly aid ort in guaranteeing your demise.
This is a mute point it seems as Archetype Earth existed in the Lostbelt and like nearly everything was basically killed... by a weakened ORT on power saver mode. Yeah, Arcuied has no chance.
Believe it or not, it's only around 40 meters in height, just like Draconic Corpus Tiamat in Babylonia. Other enemies such as Cernunnos, Oberon-Vortigern's Abyss Insect, Surtr etc are much larger than it. That being said, ORT would solo them all without much problem because size difference won't be a problem when you have so much power and practically invincible as long as the battleground is on planet earth. Though, it would be epic to see ORT taking down Cernunnos (who is just a zombie back in LB 6) and overwhelming its sea of curses with ORT's crystal valley. Or going up against the Abyss Insect who is comparable in size to the landmass of LB Britain. I won't surprised if the ORT could just tear the Abyss Insect in two just like what Melusine did at the end of LB 6 without having to wait for the Abyss Insect to closing its mouth first by defeating the smaller Oberon-Vortigern.
@The 6th Beast Draco I believe cernunnos would stand a chance since it's at least planetary. You only really need at least a multi-continental power to destroy the body of a type. Although it probably would regenerate in only a few moments
@@rust5427 Cernunnos at best is gonna flood the planet with its accumulated thousand of years worth of curses, and even that still pales in comparison to Beast II Tiamat's Chaos Tide which she can easily cover the planet with it in the span of half a day, and have unlimited stock of it (unlike Cern's curses) since she's a walking 4D pocket dimension. If anything, the Evils of Humanity are probably the closest thing on Earth that can compete to Ultimate Ones, not saying the former is gonna win though as even the Ultimate Ones seems to be vary in terms of strength.
After more than 2 decades the virtually strongest being in TM has appeared, can't wait to fight him after so long of waiting since last year's tease.I just hope Lasengle don't drop the ball and let ORT who has been an OG of TM get defeated by Mashy Sue
We have no idea if it's going to be defeated at all, we just hope we can put it back to sleep at best, we don't even know if Mash is gonna be the one to do it or not. People are just assuming because Mash is getting buffs.
The rest of the Aristotleles would like to have a friendly chat with you for labeling their Scout grunt the strongest thing in nasuverse. V/V TYPE-VENUS would like to have a chat with you while holding her guitar 🎸.
@@yunantheobserver6841 no Oort is the strongest it’s literally fucking based on the Oort Cloud that SURROUNDS OUR FUCKING SOLAR SYSTEM made up millions of frozen planets unidentified that surrounds and borders our planets. So no I don’t think those fucking types would work.
I like how now that ORT has finally arrived everyone that has read NOTES starts discussing Ado Edem like it's no one's business....myself included HAHAHAHAHA
@@pyroball602 ORT is going to awake to rush into the South Pole and destroy Chaldeas. It won't bother to kill even people around the Lostbelt (as you know Kadoc, Guda, Daybit, etc survive this future as ORT just leaves until the planet blows up). So whatever is coming from Chaldeas is a threat to ORT too. Animusphere's spell/chant states "celestial bodies become hollow."
I have so longed for a fight like this, I'm no whale, I'm barely a dolphin at best, but goddamn would I be lying to all of you and myself if I wasn't absolutely drooling at the chance to fight something as strong as Ort
