It's because Son Ye Jin controls herself more and steals quick glances at him secretly so it's less obvious that she has feelings for him. Their Negotiation director said Hyun Bin likes her more than she likes him probably because Hyun Bin is so blatantly obvious that he's smitten with her and forgets he's on camera and just stares at her all the time. Son Ye Jin does a good job of being low key while it's written on Hyun Bin's face lol.

I hadn't known Bin-Jin couple before, but I was strongly impressed by them when I have watched CLOY in the first time. I've been watching so many videos of this couple when they were promoting The Negotiation and Crash Landing On You and the way I see it, Son Ye Jin had a long time crush on Hyun Bin...In one of their videos she said that she had been following him after watching his movie. Over a decade had passed, she didn't get involved romantically to any of her co-stars. The Negotiation was their icebreaker. Her admirable qualities got Hyun Bin's attention and love.
