It would've been amazing if the developers had put a joke ending where Springtrap becomes Oz's dad, and it just shows a montage of him working and raising him into a successful adult.
I legitimately thought that’s what was going to happen during the ‘nightmare.’ Sitting at the dinner table, recreating the final shot from King of the Hill’s intro...it seemed like the next flash we’d see would be Springtrap and Oz throwing a football in the yard, Oz getting dropped off to college, etc.
I just finished this game for the first time tonight before this stream and I have to say, I really liked this game. Even if it's an adaptation of one of the FNAF books it feels like a return to form for the series after Help Wanted and Security Breach. Very pleasant yet scary pixelated artstyle, a simple but effective plot, pretty fun jumpscares, and oozing with that tasty FNAF lore.
I didn't know what to expect from a FNaF game, but this was pretty fun. The art style and animation especially were really good I can't believe it's almost been 3 years already. It only feels like it's been 1. I'm glad to have gotten to spend it with Fauna and teh saplings
03:09:57 Pixel Puzzle Makeout League is, thankfully, not suspicious at all. Just a weird puzzle/VN about puzzle themed super heroes, with a focus on Picross.
Thanks for the stream, Fauna! The visuals for the game are interesting its nice to see the bonus animations they add for certain interactions. Looking forward to seeing you finish the game sometime! Also, the discussion on horror was interesting
Hi! A member of VOD gang here! I read the book version of this, and had I seen this live. I would have been fighting myself to keep from spoiling the strory.
I love the pixel animation and that it is based on the story of the book. It kept scaring me with Jumpscared and even though I knew it was going to happen Thanks for the stream Fuana!
I was so lost amidst all the lore talk since I know nothing about FNAF, but it was fun seeing you and the saps-in-the-know get excited over the references - "IT'S PHONE GUY!" Anyhow, I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed your time with Saya no Uta! I also binged through it after your mention of it last stream, and now it's one of my favorite VNs of all time! I especially loved the OST I think I might do Higurashi next, too, since the anime adaptation kinda left me cold. Thanks for encouraging me to start chewing through my VN backlog, Fauna!
The talk of having your dad's daily life replaced by the animatronic was pretty silly! Thanks for the stream. Excited for your anniversary and the concert!
Thank you for the fun stream! I wasn't expecting the style to be so different from the original FNAF. It was pretty interesting though! I always love when you can pet the cats/dogs too
You might be interested in the visual novel YOU and ME and HER: A Love Story. I won't spoil, but you can get a hint from the overwhelmingly positive and steam tags to have an idea You might even notice some similarities to another VN you know and enjoyed
You see, Chica and you are one and the same! Both make very loud noises when panicking, and both probably do boxing poses while panicking at that! I will say though, this game is DEFINITELY different than what I thought it was gonna be! When watching FWMC do the original, that's what I expected this game to be. Not this silliness of someone trying to be your dad! Could THIS dad panic as hard as you!? I doubt it!! Fake dad!!
I'm surprised you played Saya no Uta/Song of Saya. It's true, it's such a unique game in its takes, premise is amazing, the only issue is... Well, you'd better read those "trigger warnings" lol. And honestly, I feel like people will get easily triggered by some of its disturbing things... Like Saya herself... In any case, currently catching up to the VOD, super excited to see you play the various fnaf games. Despite their flaws, I'd say they are still quite fun
12:01 pretty sure you’re *supposed* to hate the protagonist of Saya no Uta, at least once you’re a decent way into it. he’s a victim of circumstance, yes, but he leans into things and really becomes, imo, the main villain by the end.
Thanks for the spooky stream, Fauna! I laughed a lot from your reactions haha. You mentioned Alien Isolation during the stream and I thought that'd might be a good game to play with a friend, food for thought hehe. Pretty busy week today! Good luck on Breaking Dimensions and can't wait for the Anniv stream!
I don't the slightest thing about FNAF but the stream was still lots of fun. I can't believe Bonnie would stream snipe you like that. Thank you for the stram, Fauna!
Wasn't expecting fnaf but this was a nice surprise! This game has a really cool art style and I'm looking forward to seeing you finish it! Excited to see what you have planned for the anniversary stream and looking forward to the concert next weekend as well! Thanks for the fun stream today Fauna! See you next time!
(I think you'll have one for Breaking Dimensions, but I always appreciate the chat room you set up for concerts! ) As someone who also hasn't played an FNAF game but also watched some Matpat, I like how we're in the same boat lore-knowledge-wise
The kirin horror tolerance has gone through the roof, this is what 3 years of testing your limits has built up Speaking of 3 years...I'm so excited for Wednesday! I can't wait to see what you've prepared man
I was only watching a stream but some of the music stings & jumpscares genuinely scared me. Anyways, thanks for the stream, can't wait to see you at the concert!
Thanks for the stream Fauna! Story has been pretty neat so far. My knowledge of FNAF is pretty limited, I only made it through a couple of the MatPat videos Excited for your anniversary and BIG EN CONCERT next week
FNAF! This is my real exposure of FNAF knowledge apart from memes. We are at the week of Breaking Dimension so excited to experience awesomeness once again!
This game definitely surprised me a bit. The pixel art is pretty cool! Thanks for the stream, Fauna! Can't believe how close the anniversary and concert are You're gonna do great!
The amount of cute noises we had this stream was a bliss Just found out this game was based on a book that scott wrote so it was nice to know! Would definitely like to see you play FNAF 1 one of these days
The original FNAF came out 10 years ago... I can feel the years pile on. It's crazy to me to see what the FNAF series has grown into. Fauna I'm looking forward to you Anni and will be there in person for BD!
thanks for the comfy stream today! feel like this is definitely a great game to start in terms of jumping into the fnaf series for the first time, explains a bit of the lore and isnt as scary as the other games!
The game calls the animatronic "The Yellow Rabbit". I call him Ball Bonnie. Springtrap is a serial killer trapped in a spring-lock animatronic suit, hence the name. Ball Bonnie is an actual monster.
Thank you for the stream Fauna and this was not how I thought this game would go honestly lol I can't wait to celebrate your anniversary and after that the big concert!!
Thanks for the fun stream, FNAF is a silly (and mildly scary) time!! Poor Springtrap Bonnie, i'm sure he'd be a decent Dad if Ozwald gave him a fair shot... but we all know Foxy would be the best cool pirate Dad. P.S. Glad you liked Saya no Uta, it sure is twisted and is definitely horror!
Knew nothing about his game and all my cursory FNAF knowledge is also from Game Theory videos but this was a fun one. The animations have a ton of life to them and nice to see some different kind of gameplay. Also loved your Bonnie impressionI agree the whole concept of them taking over your Dad is a bit silly and your ideas taking it further were hilarious, kinda want to see that versionThanks for the stream
Yknow, I haven't really kept up with FNAF lore since 4 came out. Somehow time travelling ballpits doesn't seem all that weird in the grand scheme of things based on what I've heard. Thanks for the fun stream during this busy week Fauna, looking forward to seeing you onstage at Breaking!
Thank you for the stream Fauna!...I can't help but to think that you're actually the first HoloEN member to play anything related to FNaF. What you do with your information is up to you. (but there is a huge chance that I'm horribly wrong.) But still, it seems like a fun game and the pixel art is really, really great.
I'm not well acquainted with FNAF, so this was a fun dive head first into the lore. Good luck at Breaking Dimensions, I have my streaming tickets secured!
As someone that doesnt know that much of fnaf lore and never played the games since I dont like jumpscares, didn't expect time travelling to be canon in the fnaf universe, I guess I should really watch those MatPat videos after all
Dang, didn't have Fauna playing a FNAF game anywhere on my radar for today, but I'm here for it! This game is such a departure form the original franchise and really shows how far it grown. Hope you come back to it soon, really curious to see how this one ends.
Yay Fauna playing one of my favorite franchises! I can’t wait for you to play the originals because those are my favorites but this game has to much charm just because of how unintentionally hilarious it is. Thanks for the stream
So many cute Fauna noises today I thought this game was kind of a joke but it actually looks great Any game that can bring these noises out is good in my books
