A video I decided to make after seeing a general lack of information for new players. I hope it was helpful. GBF just released Sierokarte's Knickknack Academy in game! You can find it in the top left of the Home Page. Its an awesome tutorial for the game and will give you many free weapons and characters to get you started! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them here or on Twitch or in Discord! discord.gg/tvwEqNhnbq
Been a while since I've been a new player, but I really appreciate you for doing these vids. It was a struggle when I was starting out, with the weird UI, tons of different currencies, and lack of directions for raids. It was only like Koon making videos back then and he helped a lot. Hopefully these videos do well and more people get into the game!
Thank you! I liked Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, and I chalked that up to liking the aesthetic and fighting games in general. Then I tried Granblue Fantasy Relink and found I enjoyed that quite a lot too. Then after watching some videos online people were pointing out how much stuff I thought was Relink specific was actually directly pulled from the original Granblue game. So now I'm trying to get the original setup so I can see what Vikala is like in her original game. I really hope she appears in Relink and Rising eventually.
Im too old and decrepid to benefit from this guide but i really appreciate a polished guide like this for new players, its been actual years since anyone, including cygames, bothered to introduce new players to this game
Im glad to hear that! I recently started doing banner reviews which give an overview of new characters. Check out the Fediel banner video. Future vids will be structured similar to that.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm one of many of the Relinkers/Risers. Got a friend that plays the gacha but anytime I talk with him, I just get info dumped or just suggested to do nothing but event quests/missions. It more less soiled my gacha experience a bit but I'm not completely turned off from it. I started around the most recent Falsetto Story Event(Team Yui) and just been coasting since then. Will definitely be looking at your other tutorial videos.
a seasonal player here currenlty at rank 147 this game is very good for grinding or something to spend your time as the game is like monster hunter your grinding for the best weapons and in this game you need to value your resources. This guide is very good for new players and if you started I wish you happy raiding and farming
God, trying to keep my items in the crate is going to drive me insane @_@ Great guide btw! I'm currently a few weeks into my GBF account at this point but it's good to see if there was anything I may be missing out on in the early game's mechanics haha
I've always avoided gacha games like the plague, but after getting interested in Granblue via Relink, I was checking out the characters when I stumbled upon Grand Sandalphon (Or World Ender Sandalphon, not sure which is the correct name) and that character alone has caused me to want to try this game out. He checks ALL of the boxes.
I'm contemplating restarting Granblue after enjoying Relink. I remember the first time I played, however, that I was insanely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff the game has in it. I really hope that this time I'll be able to get through everything without losing my mind.
thank you for this, decided to pick up the game again cause of relink and was instantly confused lol. Wish I saw the part about not using the damacus bars, I still have a bunch left but I did totally use some >
I see DOKKAN!! on every corner I like! Good quickstart guide for ppl who are starting out on the game! And a quick tip for the new players; please take your time playing and enjoy the game don't rush it.
What would be the best time nowadays to join as a new player? Not particularly a meta player, but I do like getting the greatest start I can get. From what I understand the game’s birthday is soon? Would that be better or just start whenever still?
Right now is a great time to start! Specifically, between now and March 4th 6:59pm JST. Anniversary will go into full swing around March 10th but right now there is a Gala banner happening. And the next one won't be until around march 17th
im curious what your next intermediate - HL guides. Been a on-off player for GBF. Even though I have the necessary components to fight many HL content, im still have issues even with all the characters/weapons i have in my Grid
Thanks for the video!!! I figured out how to download the game onto my old android phone and created an account 🤔 managed to get payilla from my lottery pull so that’s neat! However, I got a question about my account. Since I created a mobga account (the one you recommended) using my gmail account, am I able to log into GBF from my gmail account if I find out a way to emulate the game from my apple MacBook?
Really have been enjoying the game. I'm glad I got into it. Just a quick question: Since we're in Anni currently, I've had my eye on some zodiacs, Vikala specifically. Am I able to pull/spark any zodiac during leg fest or is it only certain ones available?
During March Legfest pt 1, you will be able to spark Vikala. Check out this video if you want more details on upcoming galas! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cMnzIYkKdLg.htmlsi=xz8uyYFCvZnDiJ_s
@@Rfayma this is normally due to browser cookie issues. Give it a try another another Chrome profile or a different browser like Edge to see if that's the case. If it works there, try clearing cookies on your original profile
I have been dragged into this game by sheep lady after Rising. This is nicely helpful. question: 1:40. Is the service important enough to change it if I chose the middle one and plan in the future to spend some money on the game? I started a week before finding this video and just chose DMM cause it let me log-in with my google account.
So I've personally never used DMM but after asking people with experiences with DMM, all of the unanimously have told me to advise you to switch. It seems that DMM is a massive pain when it comes to just logging in and also spending money on purchasing items also. Let me know if you have any further questions! (I'm streaming on Twitch atm, if you want to ask live questions)
Hmm what sort of error? For now I would try the following things: Make sure third party cookies are enabled Try on a different browser Try on a different device Try on a different connection Hopefully one of these works so we can isolate the issue
i am trying to play this on my laptop but everytime i get to the tutorial fight i get stuck in the loading screem cuz chrom wants to refresh the page non stop no idea what else to do at this point
This sounds like a cookie issue? You might need to enable third party cookies on Chrome. If that doesn't work, would you be able to see if it works on Microsoft Edge?
Hmm, would you be able to screenshot what you're trying to access? I'm not sure I fully understand the situation Best advice I can give without knowing more is maybe to try on a different browser?
@@dy_dk ah ok thanks, cause i have a JP iTunes account for some other games but i hate swapping to it ill just use the browser than 👍. Also surprised you would reply on a 4 month old vid, but thank you 🙏
Hmm, I would disagree with this. While I think Classic banner can be a useful method to acquire Primal summons for more advanced players, the summons themselves are not really relevant at all for newer players. So pulling on Classic which has a worse pool of SSRs available to get a summon they can't utilize seems like an incorrect choice to me.
You won't be using 99% of SSR gacha weapons so honestly until you've upgraded your inventory space or bought additional stashes (which you can buy with crystals in Siero's shop), I would leave them in the crate. The only gacha weapons which will be useful to you right now are the weapon's with a "Pact" weapon skill. Currently, these weapons are: Crimson Scale, Gospel of Water and Sky, Pillardriver, Piercing Galewing, Harmonia and Pain & Suffering. You can see them in the table here under the Notable Premium Supplemental Weapons: gbf.wiki/Advanced_Grids#General_Supplemental_DMG
might not be the best place to ask but i started GBF 2 weeks ago and im enjoying it a lot, Im wondering where the best place to find info about what end game weapons should i be going for and what characters i should really be trying to level up. I know it's still too early for me to be thinking about that but i do want to know all this for whenever i get far enough to do these.
I did play this game on mobile wayyy back then my friend invited to play, this year because there's new granblue fantasy game so I think wanna play again but I noticed the game not actually have saved account (or maybe I'm wrong).. is it possible to get the old account or better just make new one?
Here are some things you can check: - Enable 3rd party cookies in browser settings - Clear browser cache - Try a different browser - Contact ISP Very likely its the first thing I listed if you're trying to play on Chrome. Hope this helps!
Hey, I would not recommend a optimus summon with the annitix at all. I made a video on my top picks from the anniticket here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nbuFrasNB24.htmlsi=zmQe1_nfzADYHoTA
Yeah the menuing definitely takes some getting used to but take your time! If you have any questions feel free to ask here or on discord, link in the pinned comment
I'm confused. What purpose do the weapons I get have, if they are just in my mailbox and not used for my party or level material? Should I just play with my party full of starter bronze weapons? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I have played FGO and FE Fates before, but this is not a concept I'm familiar with from other gacha games.
Basically most weapons from the gacha are not really useful at all to place in your grid. Farmable weapons are much better. Take a look this page to get an idea of what to work towards: gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids By taking the weapons out from your grid, it will take up your limited inventory space and they won't provide much benefit either.
@@dy_dk Okay I understand. Thank you very much for the explanation. But what do I do with the weapons? Will they just be in my crate forever, or will I sell them or use them for levelling the good weapons in the future, when I get them?
@@flekeinssiebeneins2790 Early on, characters and summons are the main things you care about from thr gacha. At some point in the future if you wish to, you can build a grid with gacha weapons but that's something you don't have to worry about yet
@@flekeinssiebeneins2790 No, you just want to leave them in the crate. Save them for the future. Don't sell, reduce or reserve your SSR gacha weapons. If you have a read of that Basic Grids page that I linked earlier, it will tell you what to do with SR and R weapons and summons
Each 10 pull is 300 crystals so you would need 90,000 crystals for a spark! Keep in mind the you will get draw tickets which also add to your spark count
Yeah I would still run them. If you find them tedious to do, perhaps you can skip it until you unlock the Hard Pro function gbf.wiki/Pro_Skip#HARD.2B_Pro
@@dy_dk do you have a video on pendant farming? I saw a 5 year old video about how to efficiently farm it but idk if it still works now or if there is still a need to farm out pendants. I don't mind the grind but I'd at least want to know if I'm grinding the right stuff.
@@haruyukiar1ta Hmm no but you sorta just get pendants naturally by joining other raids. If the video mentioned the R/SR boost, that's pretty much the only thing that isn't immediately obvious. People normally just do the Hard/Extreme Pro with Rs and SRs to get those bonuses There are still definitely things in the pendant shop that are useful, especially for a newer player
Mail items that go to trophies can be kept there indefinitely, but if mail tells you about free draws or pending raids should probably be claimed sooner than later.
Other than the stuff I mentioned in the video already, have a read of this section of the Basic Grids page: gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids#Inventory_Management . It'll go over what I will be talking about in future videos!
Pro-tip for playing GBF. Don't. I fell into this "game" when the AoT's Titanic Yeager collaboration event started and fast forward many years later and switching many accounts later, I have resigned myself to the fact that I'm probably stuck in here until EoS.
