I'm so glad you made these points. I've been thinking the same thing. Hew Len and other Ho' teachers always give examples of tangible visible results coming from the practice, but then tell us not to expect any such results. They tell us to keep doing the cleaning "until we notice things getting better" yet we're not supposed to expect things to get better. And until I read your comment here, I didn't know that Hew Len wasn't using his four phrases while working at the asylum. I knew that he started with Morrnah's program but thought it had evolved into the four phrases even while she was still with us. I do know that the book "Feelings Buried Alive Never Die" uses what the author calls "The Script" which is similar to one of Morrnah's prayers, and people do report tangible results (such as reversing cancer). @@J.A.706 To make things straight, at least chronologically, Morrnah transitioned in 1992. In Germany. She spent her last year in the house of Michael Micklei and Yvette at their home near Munich. That is the official address of Pacifica Seminars which teaches the original teaching of Morrnah Simeona. Now, Hew Len got the remarkable results at the Hawaii State Hospital during 1984-87, if I am not wrong. Definitely he was using Morrnah's original 12 step process during his cleansing application of Hooponopono at the hospital. Hew Len came up with the highly popularized 4 phrases around 2004-06, much later Morrnah's transition, which were popularized by Joe Vitale, a blatant internet marketing professional, who has tried his hands in almost every sort of New Age theory, by their Zero Limits books and later many Zero Limits seminars. 99% people look for some super easy tool to achieve everything including enlightenment. Now, these 4 phrases serve exactly that. And now there are so many Hooponopono "practitioners" who know nothing about Hooponopono but only have learnt the 4 phrases and can be abundantly found on the internet offering "genuine" guidance and advice. This I consider to be purely hoax. Now about the 4 phrases and the basic advice of Hew Len which I understood from his Zero Limits seminars is that he is speaking about CLEANING as a general practice which you do by constantly repeating the 4 phrases no matter what. So when you are doing that, technically speaking, you are not expecting any definitive results. Isn't that so? Morrnah's teaching is completely different. You perform the Hooponopono 12 step process ONLY when some definite problem has come to your life. You need to have at least 1-2 hours to perform ONE Hooponopono. So technically speaking, there definitely you expect a particular result to show up. That is a very key difference between Morrnah's and Hew Len's processes. But technically, just repeating the 4 phrases CANNOT be proper Hooponopono because the key element of Mutual Forgiveness is not present there. That is the key element of Morrnah's Hooponopono process. I encourage you and everyone to enquire more into the origins of Hooponopono and NOT depend on whatever you see on the internet and RU-vid.
