A request C: plus Kaito had no version of this, and I have never uploaded a video with him yet... so yaay. VSQ - Me, based off GMF159's UST C: I own nothing but the cover
Can people PLEASE stop acting like the lyrics are "scary" and "weird" and "horror" and telling others to "ignore them". They're literally spreading SA awareness, a real thing that happens to real children, it's not some horror lyrics, and should not be ignored. My god.
This song speaks about horrific sexual abuse of children. It tells the story of a girl who is abused by her father all her life. The references to cannibalism are from the constant r*pe and abuse literally eating her alive from the inside out. She runs away one day and meets a boy. They fall in love, but the boy treats her well. He treats her like you are meant to treat a loved one. But she has been suffering with this abuse so long that in her head, being loving was not an act of love, but hatred. In her head, abuse was love. So she came back home, and her father invited several men. You can imagine what happened to her. The references to a collapsing body are her dying during the gang r*pe. This happens to real children, every day. Please, don't treat this like it's some made up horror. Don't silence songs like these. Victims need the voices that spread awareness for and with them.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with you for enjoying a song with lyrics about horrible things, but that in no way means you should ignore what they're about. They were written like that for a reason, you're meant to hear about the horrible things and feel bad because they are horrible and so awfully real
THANK YOU!! Half these comments are like “oh nooo the lyrics are so awful I feel bad for listening to this song” and the other half are like “dont feel bad for listening!! The song is good just like any other song, its not your fault its about rape!” And its like what the fuck, the song is SUPPOSED to make you uncomfortable and its about SA for a reason??? It has a strong message, that is THE POINT. If you were listening to a song that was putting SA in a positive light then yeah that would be something to feel horrible about. But a song that is discussing the topic in a negative light and why it is absolutely horrible??? Why the HELL would u feel bad about listening to that?!?!
right????? it's really rubbing me the wrong way. the lyrics were written with a goal in mind (spreading awareness about CSA) so to ask people to ignore them is not only defeating the purpose of the song but it's especially extremely insensitive to SA victims.
I'm a bit late to the party but to all the people saying "Let's all try to ignore the lyrics": Don't. This song is a very powerful statement about abuse and the effects it has on victims. As an abuse victim myself I heavily resonate with this song and it feels almost liberating to, at last (although really for the past 10 years lmao), have a song that doesn't romanticize abuse and make it seem 'quirky' or even 'cute'- and instead, talks about how awful it is and portrays the reality of it. The lyrics are very important and should be regarded. Don't feel bad for enjoying the song, either. It's a fantastic song. Super catchy. Kikuo never misses, and this cover sounds awesome- never knew Kaito's voice could go so high while sounding so good. Songs are meant to be enjoyed by the listener, but they're also meant to send a message- and both are equally as important. Jam out, stan Kikuo, and stan the awesome cover artists like this one that bring their work to life in all sorts of different ways!
Thank you so much for this. I came into the comments to say the same thing. People thinking that this song is bad/gross/should be disliked just because it covers a heavy topic is so upsetting to me. Speaking out about horrible things that happen should be normalized. It's understandable to be uncomfortable from this song, because that's the entire point. The song obviously is not romanticizing abuse in any way and seeing people shun it really just reminds me of how I've been shunned for things like this happening TO me. As someone who's been a victim of both SA and family SA, I've found so much comfort in this song, as well as in kikuo's comment section, because it makes me feel like I'm not alone even when I've been made to feel that I am. Logically, I know that there are so many people that have also been a victim of these things, but being told that I'm gross for speaking about it really fucked me up for a while and made me feel like I was going insane or that maybe it wasn't that bad. I'm really sorry to hear you've gone through a similar thing. My heart goes out to you. We'll get through this! ❤
Exactly. You SHOULD be disgusted and disturbed by it, that’s what art is meant to do sometimes. Art like this makes you feel things, and even if they’re unpleasant feelings you shouldn’t ignore them, because they’re unpleasant for a reason
@@Reiivenwell said! its meant to be disgusting and disturbing to prove a point, to show how horrid these experiences can be without romanticizing it. kikuo does a VERY good job with this type of stuff. his lyrics are very meaningful even though sometimes hidden by cheerful sounding music, and theyre just very well done in general.
"Art is meant to disturb the comforted, and comfort the disturbed" These are words that people really need to hold onto when music or art in general like this exists
His voice is really pretty but most people just ignore the pretty part of his voice and calling his tuning terrible and say he sounds like kermit like what did ice cream boy did to you
...Kaito made me cry. For some reason, this version caused me to cry. Every other version makes me feel like a terrible person for liking this song, but Kaito's version somehow made me cry...
I commented on another version of this song covered by Kaito and SeeU that I just feel so much sadder for him. When any of the girls sing, of course its sad, and maddening, and horrible. But because I see Kaito as an older guy (older than some of the other vocaloids that sing this I mean), its like he has been even more manipulated and abused, and I feel worse for him that the others.
Little side note, don’t feel bad for listening and liking this song. It’s normal. Your not gonna go to jail for liking a song with bad lyrics. Don’t feel bad. Although r@pe is a horrible thing, its not your fault its sung with a catchy beat.
Thank you so much for saying this, more people need to understand. It's not any different than liking, say, a realistic horror movie. One that could actually happen, and does happen. Are you okay with those things because you like it? No. But you can like the song/movie without liking the subject matter.
@@decKyo cuz people like to discard graphic, offensive, art works without thinking that they can criticize it without making people not listen to it just cuz it is not for them. I don't know why people just can't let other people enjoy things that aren't physically and mentally hurting other people.
Y’all do realize the song is spreading awareness about the terrible things that happens to children right? I don’t think we should silence this and I think it’s important to know that horrible shit like this happens.
I know the meaning, but I think the lyrics stand for something different. Besides rape. I hate that theory. But it sounds kickass so I still love it yay.
Since i see KAITO as a middle aged man, or at least late 20s, it makes me think that he survived and that this is just him recounting what happened to him as a child. :(
I think that a deeper tone of voice matches this song much more, having rather morbid lyrics. KAITO fits in perfectly with the innocence, yet shaded words.
RU-vid 2012: nope 2013: ..... 2014: ..... 2015: ..... 2016: ..... 2017: not yet 2018: just wait a lil bit 2019: heY I'MMA RECOMMEND THIS TO YOU. Edit: It's 2021 now and why is my comment blowing up? Another edit: pls, now is 2022 and it still blowing up
I cringe every time I listen to this song but I can't help but like it. I guess because is about something that's so real that it's hard to listen to without feeling bad. Though the way it expresses it's meaning in the lyrics is very abstract so I like that.

It surprises me how old this cover is, yet is one of the best covers with Kaito I've ever heard, and it makes wanna listen to this song even thought I don't like it so much
I always felt that the song lyrics were about an emotionally abusive relationship. Emotional abuse can feel like you're being eaten from the inside out, and it's difficult to escape from "Daddy".
to the girls who keep saying a male version is what makes you sad than the original (because i don't know, you guys like boys i guess.) maybe, stop? saying one perspective is above the other is just plain gross, don't invalidate one thing because you prefer the other. yes, i am aware male victims often have it bad, maybe worse, in some cases, i myself am i male victim of several cases of sexual abuse and harassment, but that doesn't mean men's suffering is above women's just because of that fact. learn to understand both sides and don't just cherry-pick information because you find the other topic more interesting.
+BevvyIsTheBest Yeah they are both sad but i think in male version is more sad because society barley considers men being raped seriously. Recently a 15 year old boy got raped and everyone laughed and said he wanted it.
its been 10 years and people still dont get over the lyrics..? like we know its a really delicate topic but bro its just a song, its not aimed to anyone so its not a crime to just apreciate and like the song without minding the lyrics
It's okay to enjoy a song like this. If anything, I think its good to enjoy a song like this. Its composed brilliantly to match the intensity and tone of the meaning, and the meaning itself creates empathy and awareness to an issue that is unfortunately very common in the world. It's especially an issue that happens due to a lack of care or empathy. Art like this can give people a need to protect and fight for the rights and justice of victims like the narrator of this song. Art is meant to make you feel and experience things that you might never experience in the real world. Art creates connections and understanding between people. PLEASE continue to love this song, share it, make it known. Cause this song describes the pain and suffering that results from abuse like this. Pain and suffering that is too often ignored.
@@ioriyume who said they ruin it? crying about a song's lyrics is like crying about a movie - doesn't necessarily mean that you don't like the work. maybe even the opposite, it makes you emotional. just that.. it really is depressing that we live in a world where things described in this song actually happen. and you can bet it happened, hell, it probably is happening right now. and we can't stop it.
It’s a banger song with depressing lyrics. As much as I would rather not have heard them, they do bring awareness to some very powerful topics that many songs couldn’t.
TippiFlower Because this isn’t one of those deliciously messed up songs where being messed up is the whole appeal, this song actually tackles a serious subject. It isn’t even a creepy song, it’s just plain sad.
i sure do question my sanity a lot over songs, but not over this one. this one just makes me feel disgusted at the world we live in. -what does make me question my sanity is my weird love for songs like "fox's wedding" or "amygdala's rag doll" because i have them in my playlist right after cutesy ass songs, lol.-
actually, the whispering means "Suck up my yellow fat with a straw" "Stick it into my pee-pee and suck it up like that too" "Fill it up with my poop and bake it" "Even though my body is collapsing for Papa's sake" and "Big Brother gulps down my amniotic fluid" "He breaks open my hard stomach and touches the inside" "Without eating me, he treats me gently" "Even though my collapsed body is ugly"
GUYS I KNOW THE MEANING OF THE LYRICS CAN MAKE YOU FEEL GUILTY FOR ENJOYING THIS SONG BUT From what I could find, it isn't based on a true story. This is a song made to bring awareness of child abuse. So please enjoy this song with the knowledge that it was made with good intentions
Me: *Scrolls through recommended, finds dis video,* " Mm, interesting ;) " *Ze clicks on vid* *Scrolls through comments while listening to dis* " Why is everyone saying this is depressing! dis song is amazing :D!. *----Still looks up english lyrics-----* *------2 days later you find me curled up in a rock, in a corner, screaming " WHY MY KAITO CHIALD WHYYYYY "------* The end
According to another comment This lyrics give awareness to abuse. I just recommend to be careful when listening. I wouldn't want anyone to be traumatised. Im not saying you should ignore it. Just want you to know what you are about to look into.
Kaito not being able to reach the high notes as well but being able to go super deep some how adds character to the song, he sounds almost eroded through the song and it adds to the themes of breaking down for someone, I like it, Nice!.
ooh the part starting at 1:14 sounds amazing with kaito's voice! great job on this, i imagine it's pretty hard to tune kaito, especially for more modern/complicated songs, and you did it perfectly! it hurts my heart but in a way where i'm in awe, just like any version of this song should be
For some reason this version makes me way more emotional, i never really liked Kaito voice since people just make him sound like Kermit but i was on verge of tears the first time i heard this cover,, Is it because he sounds so calm while singing? Or is it just because it gives a different vibe from the original? I cant figure it out.
You know i feel so dumb saying this, but i very vividly remember this as the fist vocaloid song i ever heard. The thumbnail had really caught my eye and was intrigued when i heard a surprising human sounding voice singing Japanese with an extremely catchy melody. I had never really heard of anime nonetheless vocaloid, but i had a slight idea of it due to my cousin who was very into blue exorcist and even cosplayed. Its oddly comforting to go back to the thing that had brought me so much joy, and I’m still glad that people are still making songs and carrying the fandom. Kaito has always had a special place in my heart, and i think its because he was the gateway to an undiscovered world. I even now still listen to vocaloid from time to time, and its always nostalgic in a way. When i got this in my recommended today i was shocked to say the least but I’m glad i found a little bit of a forgotten favorite :]
*I'm sorry I'm I must be a bad kid , forgive me please ,forgive me please , pitiful me* "I know I'm doing something wrong daddy please forgive me" I said sitting with father "Which is why you must be punished " That is all I heard until he got closer ..... *I'm sorry , goodbye , what a frightened boy who keeps running* I hate living like this , I hate what he does but still I can't open my mouth to say any thing ...what now?? *I'm sorry forgive me please, I'm in love with someone other than papa* No matter how much he does this I can't love him ....because I'm in love with someone else...... That was story time .... plz don't kill meh D:
I feel like this song is about a girl[or boy in this song] that goes through severe sexual abuse that is given to him by his father. The boy[Kaito] then decides to run away, and when he does he finds someone he loves, who still cared for him even though he was raped. But because the only form of love Kaito understands and is familiar with is the torturous love he receives from his father, that's exactly what he does. Kaito rapes the person who pitied him, and is forced to run back to his father to receive even more rape and sexual abuse from more people.
