rng stacker only increases atk stat of the frontline doing nearly nothing to help survive. So rng shield would be the best option if you wanna keep rng alive

424 inf phalanx is is a counter against 424 cav phalanx. In this case ranged atk stat would be the most important. Sometimes the opponent is too strong and cannot beat even in inf phalanx that's when you need to adjust the comp like to 857, 749, 758 etc in the way that you increase the damage source against the enemy cav and reducing damage you take at the same tine. Putting inf shield will also help a lot. With best stat distribution, Inf/cav high tends to work all-roundedly especially with oact 5 familiars, but it's a very case-by-case thing!

Will do a video on that, but yes, 1055 will do more damage. And the idea of the ratio might be misleading because the pact 5 damage is proportional to both the troop count and the Atk%. Doubling either figure will double the damage inflicted on the opponent. So the ratio would just be 1:1. But it's much easier to add pact 5 damage by Increasing troop count.

Using snow beast in 424 is actually useful sometimes. It'll be easier to induce the 424 winning mechanism against 442 rng phal. Also It'll be harder for 055 to penetrate 424 rng. The reason that 122 is preferred is for the situations using cav phal and having to defend a 055. 221 does terribly against 055 and 122 induces more favorable mechanism when using cav phalanx. If you're determined to use rng phal or the opponent uses 442 often, then 221 is fine, but 221 allows easier defeat in quite a few situations.

If you don't have ethereal guide, bombing goblin is totally fine. the rng hero like snow queen has a bit more rng atk and much more rng hp on the rng so is appropriate in scenarios where you need those stats.

Pack 5 familars works for all troops tiers. Obviously t5s is the best but pact 5 increases boost for all 5 tiers.

Yes, 212 can be justified that way. However, 212 hero comp will suffer when defending. If you're only attacking, 212 hero is totally fine.

For a very specific situation, stat distribution matters a lot. However, other than maxed players most people will benefit far more from spending money to Increase stats overall than to build extra equipment to fit a particular stat distribution.

Answer is pretty simple, the first one to kill range is going to turn onto cav since thats the closest enemy troops, thats the reason the "weaker" player tends to win in those situation (based on my experience at least). Also I think thats also the idea behind the other variants of 424, you manipulate number of troops/fams to fit that scenario and reach a beneficial retarget. But could be wrong, those are just observations of not experienced wow participant.

@@crystalbriefs Yes, the spreadsheet looks very helpful although I have some doubts and It would be great if you tried to explain me. I am interested in 424 situation with attacker in inf phal and defender with wall up. In your doc it seems its better for defender to go with inf phal rather than range phal and I don't get it. With attacker in inf phal, his inf is getting annihilated very quickly so defenders range is being counter for very short amount of time which should result in minimal loses(I guess). But according to this doc defender takes less loses in inf phal, whch doesn't make sense to me since attackers cav is living much longer. What am I missing?

@@Schrupywacz Ah, impressed that you're trying to figure out yourself and your question is very reasonable. That's also what I would've thought before testing. However, that's when the 'unique mechanism' comes into play. With the wall, inf heroes in the attacker is the culprit for the apparent anomaly. They interfere with the squad positioning and thus changing the order of retargeting exerted by the defender troops in a way that attacker's two of the four inf squads survives much longer than they theoretically should, doing a lot more damage to the defender's ranged than in ordinary circumstances. That's the primary reason why you must not defend with rng phal against the mixed rally with the wall. If you get a report of unexpected burning with the attacker-inf defender-rng phal + wall situation, look closely at the battle movie and pay attention to how defender troops retarget at the breaking of the wall, you might see something stunning.

@@crystalbriefs Really? That's very interesting, fortunately I have such a report so I'll definitely check it up later, got burned by +12 titan couple kvks ago when I was liderless. Thank you, I couldn't get my head around why people recommend inf phal for defending, range seemed perfect to me. Cav, even if in the back, lined up in one line so each squad targets separate inf squad, when inf is gone attacker's cav is also fully countered by 4 squads of range and so on. With inf phal in defend I thought it probably wouldn't be the case and the fight ends up being more chaotic. So thanks, finally a reasonable explanation 😄

Yes but it depends. If your the weaker lead and you know enemy won't go cav phal you can miss out alot of the rng stats. If your weaker and u know enemy will go cav phal, rng stats are important. If your stronger you want to diversify and be stronger against more comps so having extra rng is good.

Yes it really depends. Like already answered pretty well. I'd rather keep the ranged atk.

@@ritubhagat6283 You don't have to worry actually having the right comp is much more important. That aside, a good stats distribution that works nice in most cases is something like 850/750/900 for titans, 600/550/600 for middle spender. Not reducing rng atk will enable more formations to be used. But if you don't have champ, that's often not possible, so it's totally ok to work with what you've alrealy got.

For non champ player, the stats will be more like 650/600/520 which is not ideal, but still possible to work with.

@@1to733 The optimal stat distribution actually depends primarily on what formation the opponent is in Ranged atk becomes the most important when the opponent uses cav front, because ranged can do a lot of damage on cav.
