Hi crystal, your videos are being really helpful to me, especially as a beginner to wonder wars. Im pretty confused about the matchup between 442 inf phal vs 442 rng phal, while testing 442 rng phal wins, but idk whether its due to my main being statistically stronger than my alt or not. Ive tried to reduce the troop count from my main in that case too, and rng phal still wins... So i assume rng phal always wins against inf phal when both players are using a 442?
I didn't mention explicitly, but since you're using ranged phalanx and trying to induce 442 winning mechanism against 424 ranged phalanx, ranged hp becomes a lot more important than ranged atk.
@@crystalbriefs so while using 442 comp or any range heavy comp like 794-974-244 i should use black crow? Instead of the other two? (Goblin:traker) or there is different requirements for different heroes?
442 variant is any variant that aims to induce "442 winning mechanism" against 424 rng phalanx. 866 is not developed for inducing 442 winning mechanism so it can be considered a different variant. The purpose of 866 is often to prevent 442 winning mechanism by using ranged phalanx. 866 rng phal can counter most 442 variants in rng phal and 244 variants in ranged phal. 866 can counter 686 ranged phal.
@@crystalbriefsHi, Crystal, how to set 866, 221 hero comp and familiars should be bee, bunny, drider, jade, blackwing. Or depends which comp you will use put shield familiars
One thing I can say for now is to defend in rng phal. The important thing is to make sure your castle can eat a rally. If you can achieve that mix rally is just a yummy hit because it cannot cause insane damage. Whether mixed gives higher chance of walk back is highly debatable.
@@crystalbriefs Hi our guild mate, with mythic gear,( + 3 familiair lvl 5 max) with 21 milj troops, first attack with mixed troops( 4-2-4) in inf phalanx defens ranged phalanx> lose with a little Marge, second rally same account, with same troops ( 4-2-4) in inf phalanx,,> Defens inf phalanx ( now 19,5 milj troops left) we won with big difference..
@@crystalbriefs thx Btw I am still indecisive between the 80% range hp familiar and swap it instead of reducing 15% army hp For 1 situation, range blast And another situation for wow , I use 424 range phal mostly and my opponents rarely use cavalry phalanx so I rarely have to use inf phal or something, I already have stacker gryphon and 60% atk 60% range hp , so I'm debating increasing my range hp cuz most of the times if my range frontline survives I win
@@TheMightyNuub For ranged blast I'd definitely go for hp80% for wow 424, however, expecting your ranged to survive is not very practical as the ranged count is prone to falling for the mechanism that ensures rng being destroyed. 80hp will be more effective when you have somewhat higher ranged count than that. Otherwise really depends. PS: You could check at what point of the battle your ranged usually get destroyed. If it's around 20 sec point adding hp to ranged is less likely to help but if ranged death is only towards the end of the battle, hp could help to buy more time before enemy transition targets after which your troops die faster.
Depends on which front the opponent uses. If the opponent does inf front, cav jewel will be better and same goes for other situations. You need to have an idea which front the opponent tend to use in your environment.
@@crystalbriefs so what do you think is the best 3rd jewels to put in (since I have only 6 champ jewels)? atm I'm using 2 cav jewels and my stats are 783,768,541 and is 2x750%, wyrm, range shield and gryphon the best option as fams? I'm working on hell drider an I think I will put it instead gryphon
@@ka1v427 If you're trying to hit the opponent sitting in rng phal, then pretty sure inf 10% jewel is better. For 442 tho, 15% rng hp jewel is also an option. rng hp also improves the effect of rng shield. Aso for familiars your proposed line-up is decent until you have hell drider completed. Hell drider is usually more helpful in situations in which 442 is preferred.
Hey, I had it tested and found out that there's no mechanism that allows 974 inf phal to beat 947 inf phal against a similar level. I think you beat 947 inf phal because either you're statistically stronger or have more t5 count or combination of both. 974 rng phal did stood a much better chance against 947 inf phal in the test.
