I’m the chef for the family. Programmer and my wife works in a warehouse distribution center. We both love Japan so much, so thank you for teaching me how bento’s are made. She loves them, and they make her day, plus it makes my day knowing she’s fed (her job is hard work and she needs a solid meal) and I get a great lunch too!
if you often forget to put salt and pepper on things you want to fry, you can also try putting salt and pepper in the batter, or sprinkle salt and pepper directly after frying! that way the salt and pepper (and even other spices if you'd want to try, maybe shichimi 👀) will stick to the fried crust :3

Your menus always make my mouth water and wish I was there to be invited to your home for a meal! That tip for getting the Spam out the can is truly genius! (well done to who gave you the tip!) There is another tip which involves squeezing the opposing corners...but I haven't tried this trick myself. I really miss your uploads when you are away!!
The doughnut hamburg steak is such a great idea!!! I have individual silicone cupcake molds I need to try this! Also, I wish I was more consistent with getting up earlier in the morning, when I do get up early I am very productive~ Edit: Tell your husband that it is indeed a very nice plate :)

Depends on the dish. You can just leave it out a lot of the time since it usually isn't needed for anything in particular. If you want to bulk up a meal but the onion is gone, try adding another vegetable that you like better. Seasoning-wise for replacements I'm not much help I'm afraid, onion is a core part of everything I make...

I’ve had a bizarre night, went for a walk as normal and missed a man throwing himself off a bridge in to oncoming traffic by a few minutes. Went to look after see the air ambulance and saw him covered over with a leg and shoe strewn across a motorway carriageway. This vlog has calmed my mind, god rest the person that was so distressed 😔
