I sympathize with dealing with the heat, our forecast here for the next two weeks has it ranging from 37°C to 41°C. I very much want to move north to where it is cooler, but real life stuff and trouble job hunting from so far away has made it difficult. Anyways, all of the food you make looks so delicious! I showed some of it to my oldest nephew (He's 14, almost 15) and he is mad that bentos aren't really a thing here in the USA.
Thank you always, Tedi!!!!! It must have been a tough day for you. Good work! But your message made me soooo happy! Sweet dreams and have a great weekend😊

Hi Hanako! Summer has arrived in the USA where I live in North Carolina. It is and average of about 33 C here with a lot of humidity. Thanks for another great week of bentos! I have never seen pickled plum paste. Loved the Mt. Fugi onigiri! And the wrapping of the rice rolls at the end- so innovative and pretty! Loved the Sakura pasta decoration too! Can't wait until your next video! Hope your week is great!
I loved the Mt. Fuji onigiri! I will do this the next time I make onigiri. And those rice balls in the last bento are so cool! Also @8:00 hello little Doraemon! haha

i just got into your videos recently and as someone who is trying to learn to cook I love these videos and think imma try some of these recipes in the future. Out of curiosity how long does it take to make theses bentos on average?
Hello new subscriber here. Really interesting in Japanese cooking. I make Japanese fried chicken however I do it slightly differently but I also noticed with you and another RU-vid channel watch called IMA. Are you room that you don’t seem to marinade a lot for is this a Japanese thing, so for my fried chicken, I put soy sauce, sesame, oil, Worcestershire, Schauss Some chives, mixed herbs, salt and pepper and mix together. I cut my chicken up after giving it a little bit of a wash and I put it into the mixture and I’ll give it a good mix together and I’ll cover it and leave it for 30 minutes in the fridge at least before cooking, I often leave it overnight and then cook it for lunch. I don’t use Panko breadcrumbs but because the chicken is nice and moist I use cornflour this might be because I’m in the UK so I’m not sure what would be available in Japan and I literally cover it, and then I shallow fry it one side, and then shall I fall out the other side until golden brown normally can smell when they are ready, I also add to my egg fried rice, some cashew nuts or flaked Almonds some green onion, which in the UK. We cool spring onions and some normal onions and mixed peppers which were frozen that get cooked it makes for one very lovely lunch. Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy watching them now. Just Gotta be brave enough to attempt some of them
NO !!! Tell me you are NOT removing, one by one, the roots of bean sprouts !! OMG you must really love that man! I would NEVER go that far! Put a $20 bill in his bucket and send him to Denny's for lunch!! LOL
I don't know, where y'all live, but I feel with you! Here in germany the heat's up to 30-35°C (86-95°F) this week and I'm melting away "like ice in the sunshine" 🥵🍦 Anyway, this weeks bentos look so delicious and I think I've to try the cold noodles as well 😍 I'm in for every nutricious and cold dish here! Also love the effort you put especially into fridays onigiri 🥰👍 Have a great weekend!
As someone who is afraid of the spluttering sound of deep frying and getting spattered - you need fo invest in a spatter guard! Speaking for yours truly - the ASMR of deep frying always makes me hungry! And these dishes look and sound amazing (even if a lot of the ingredients are impossible to come by where I live in the UK.
Hi,Leigh! I'm so sorry for the late reply. It's exactly as you said! I should use a spatter guard, haha. Thank you for your kind compliment!!! I was worried about that, so I was very relieved to hear that.
