I wonder what happened in your place? this is like a everyday for a lot of Eastern women (Asia-islander/arab-middle eastern etc). We grew up with our moms made meals for the husbands/kids
@@KimAhrina11 they probably don't live in asia. I mean I live in the us, but I have a Hispanic mother. She usually just gives us spicy food and left over food until there's nothing else left to eat. Just saying, not everybody has the same lifestyle.
@@KimAhrina11 my father also is the one that cooks the meal, not the mother. my mother usually works and my father cooks, cleans, and helps us with our homework. he's a house husband. I don't think that's very common in asia though.
@@KimAhrina11 It's become much more common in the US for both halves of a couple to need to work outside the home in order to support themselves or their family. That's lead to it being far less common for either one to have the extra time to prepare complex meals or extra gestures like this, especially before work in the morning. In parts of the world where one salary can support a couple or family more easily, it's more viable for one partner to care for the home while the other is away at work.
Your bento’s are so relaxing and look delicious. Your Halloween bento is amazing. I’ve watched a few other bento channels and they clean the fish with potato starch and sake to get rid of the fishy smell. It seems to be used a lot for prawns but sometimes fish as well.
Hahahaha, the Halloween group is adorable! I was also admiring your giant rice balls with pork and egg. You always work so hard. I imagine your weekend meals are peanut butter sandwiches. 🤣 Happy Halloween, Hanako!
Everything about these is really lovely and it's obvious that you've put a lot of love and care into these bentos. Please stop insulting yourself, even if it is playful. You do amazing!
Your videos are always a bright spot in my week. Your Halloween bento box was the best! It is worthy to be in a food magazine. The ghosts and mummies made me smile. Great job! 🌟
Hi Hananko! I loved the Miffy omelet! Wonderful idea to cut out part and fill in with the white. It turned out great! Absolutely loved your Halloween bento! So many details, and designs! Hope you have a great week !
Hi, Nicole!! I'm so glad you liked the Halloween bento and the Miffy bento!! It took time and effort than usual, but I'm happy in being able to hear that. It made all my time and work worthwhile😊 Thank you for your continuous kind support!!
Hi Hanako, your videos are really relaxing, great work!! I really enjoy your channel and the subtitles, they quite spread your good energy 😊 watching from Spain 🇪🇦💞
Hi there! Your commentary in your video was so funny today and such a bright spot in my day! Thanks for sharing your awesome meals yet again! I hope you and your husband are doing well!
These videos always make me a bit happier than i was before watching. Can't thank you enough for this content : ) You make my day better just by making cute food that helps me prepare mine and my husband's lunches. Thank you!!
Love that Halloween group photo Bento!!! I fished with my parents tons as a child and I learned at an early age all about cleaning and skinning fish. The best hint is to use a very thin and flexible knife called a boning knife or even a fillet knife. The longer and thinner the blade is the better it is to get the meat off the bones and the skin off the meat. To bone a fish, start at the head, to skin the meat once it’s off the bone, start at the tail, at the base of it.
That two-tone omelette blew my tiny mind. At first glance i thought you’d just cut out cheese and put them on a plain omelette. Stealing that idea, thank you!
Hello Hanako... your sense of humor on the meat wrapped rice ball 'mummy' and 'flower, flower, what???' just makes my morning... haha...always marvelled how you can afford making all the cute decorations in the morning (a little time consuming) for yor husband's bentos...😃😃😃
Thank you for showing your mistakes as well as your beautiful bento boxes. Too much on the Internet is perfect and makes people think they cannot do it themselves. You show us what it really looks like.
Using Bubu Ararae as a replacement for panko is such a great idea! I wish I could buy some easily in Canada! Also I love Halloween and that bento was so cute! :D
Hi, GIChiyo!! Thank you always for your kind comment!! I'm happy you liked Halloween one! It made all the effort worthwhile😊 And you may be able to get the Bubu arare on online shop.
I was so happy to see a video pop up on my notifications! I've been making a lot of desserts this month. Berry Chantilly Cake Black Forest Cake Matcha Mummy cookies Pumpkin Mooncakes Matcha with red bean snowskin mooncakes I kept thinking about your adorable bentos, and tried to make my desserts just as cute! Thank you for the videos!
Late to the party but I love your recipes! I can't really work at least not outside of home but I want to start prepping lunches for myself so I'm always looking for ideas! I'm sorry you hurt your neck sleeping :( I do that fairly often and it's awful! Also the fried bubu arare look like konpeito! Perfect for Halloween or a sweets theme hehe
i hope i could make a tasty and colorful meal like you do, but i'm too bad at cooking. my brother always says that i can't do nothing well, specially food. personally, i don't think i cook that bad, but sometimes i think that the food don't have a bad taste for me because it's me who cooks it. anyways. I don't have any confidence at all when i cook, so i adore your great job, and i feel all your love and effort when i see these bentos. keep on the good job! i hope someday I'll can do something similar. but of course, for my husband; my poisonous brother don't deserve it. his words really hurt me, aiyo.
I'm really sorry your brother has such hurtful things to say to you. Don't take his criticisms to heart, you are probably a genuinely good cook and he could just be saying mean things to purposely bring down your self-esteem :( Everyone can get better at a skill as long as they keep practicing it-- try not to be too hard on yourself🥺
I just found your video and I absolutely love your positivity and the realistic side of cooking. I to am bad at prepping fish while still making it look pretty... at least it tastes good. :3 I can't wait to watch all of your video's now!!!
i dont have a husband to make bentos, but i loved your videos so much and they inspired me so much, i'm thinking of cooking for my dad! haha or even just myself the halloween bento was soooooo cute!!!! ^^ your husband is very lucky
