This usage of counter is EXACTLY what I expected to do in G-Rank with the monsters that are so fast. It allows Switch Axe to now keep the aggression and not get bodied when playing.
but also keep in mind that all armor sets in the demo have wirebug whisperer 3 on them so spaming the counter in general will be harder to do without the skill
Incredible run, but they really dropped the ball with the new counter, its way too good. 80% of the run is counter spam. They need to make it available less often imo.
It's less available it just the speed run and the rng on the works. You just saw a video and haven't really played it haven't you? It's way harder to manage it than you think.
@@majorasmask252 dunno what you are on about, there is no rng involved in how often a wirebug move is available. And yes I have played the demo and switch Axe is one of my main weapons, which is why I don't want it to become a one trick pony. The counter is too good and thats obvious. Even the author of this video liked my original comment.
@@pipaloire I mean, the other 2 silkbinds are still locked in the demo. But for those who were able to unlock it using 'illegal' methods apprantly found that the other silkbinds are very good to add in rotations... Well, hopefully. So the counter won't just be the only thing to use, it's just a very reliable get-out-of-a-sticky-situation thing. Also keep in mind every demo sets have Wirebug Whisperer 3 so the cooldowns won't be as fast as normally without those skills. Either way I honestly like the counter, it feels so good
