Synopsis:
In an unexpected kidnapping case, Shen Manning meets her "doppelganger" Zhuang Xinyan. But Zhuang Xinyan's death totally changes Manning's life. the director must be a genius for choosing such an incredible cast and for shooting the drama in such a mesmerising way. every scene is loaded with so much symbolism and the cast never fails to flawlessly deliver it. the scene where the fl kept knocking on the glass as if asking the ml to let her in and pleading him to open up his heart for her, the way the door is open yet the ml still chooses to stand before the glass it's like he has the key to free himself (aka manning) yet he's unable to move because he's trapped inside his past - and unfortunately - present trauma, all of this is just too beautifully overwhelming to me😭 ppl saying this drama's plot has so many loopholes and such but i genuinely wasn't able to pay attention to any of those flaws bc of how good the cast is, how suspenseful every ep is, and how beautiful the dialogues are. heads up to everyone involved in producing my lethal man they did one hell of a good job🤍

Yan Xingcheng carried this episode💯💯 the transition from cold conniving to broken depressed fragile man is exceptional❤❤ he has my heart and the whole confession scene...argh you just wanna hold him so he doesn't break...Manning did great too as his support beautiful 😘 and the kisses how they both melt in it....😍😍 And him being 23 too he's talented and has a great future ahead💯💯

It breaks my heart to see Xingchen so sad. He needs to fight back those people are evil and very greedy. I've cried so much in every episode. This is an awesome drama. I will watch it again once all 24 episodes are loaded. I hope it has a wonderful ending, cause lately I've watched other Historical dramas and have been very disappointed. I like to feel happy at the end of dramas with happy endings. This is the greatest good work to everyone involved in making this drama. Love you guys God bless! Need a second season please.

I'd actually take a moment to appreciate the supporting male and female lead here. They loved the main leads profusely still moved on with the fact that they love someone else. Heyyy same. ML never made me cry but supporting characters did. Although ML actor is the best actor among them. But somehow i dint get connected emotionally to his character. Just sad and pity at times like first ep accident where he was shook, then some other scenes. But true love is taught by side roles.

This episode is my most favourite episode in the whole drama...Mainly cause it portrays the main characteristics of real lovers in my pov...Manning being by Xingcheng's side the whole time despite him barely reacting back...She understood his situation very well and made sure he does not feel lonely ever again...Sometimes all we need is someone to be there for us when times are tough..💓 I remember the dialogues in some parts of the episode as well ..Cause I watched the whole episode 3 times (when I watched it for the first time ) and also repeated some scenes more than 6 times(Including the scene where she consoled him and when he said I love you under the tree and the scene where they cuddled on a mountain top or something) When I say their chemistry is overflowing..This is what I mean...Non of these scenes where cringy at all..They were so lovely and natural...And did not seem like acting.. Lethal man the best chinese drama ever..🤗☺😘

Shen maning, she is the light into yan xing dark world. Because of his past his heart is closed. She is the strong one for him. She is the one that open his heart and he could completely feel vulnerable with her. The character she played is superb, not childish yet mature. The way Yan Xing looks at her everytime she encouraged him. She basically will go to the end of the earth for him. I know you seen the drama a year ago. I just now finished it. Oh by the way have you heard of the "dramalist " It is a good website/app to see all the dramas out there and discussions. It showcase the drama and where to watch it.

Ml's acting is so goood. His eyes and gestures is so intricately done. Also, saying 'I love you' to the fl was very memorable since he doesn't usually reply to her. This series is one of the best series of cdrama. I don't know why is it not so popular yet. I believe all the actors have done a great job. Story is top notch, direction is to the mark and cinematography, editing just superb. ML n FL deserve best actor award, they have shown all the shades of emotions. I've been waiting for this moment.... such a beautiful love confession scene for the lead leads.... very touching and a great way to show the operator... the lead tormented by childhood trauma who thought he couldn't bear this burden anymore and Shen Manning, who supported him in a beautiful way and made him confess his love for her and he decided to continue fighting against adversities - a beautiful scene and their first time ... also nicely done, the light that covered and gave such a sense of a romantic moment and an important moment for them ... I am glad that finally the main leads was found in this difficult love of theirs

In previous episodes, this is what I mean.......every scene brings a new twist to the story, you want more of it. The beauty is that every single introduction to the twist of the plot, the whole story line is not lost by unnecessary scenes. This drama is fantastic! I especially loved the storyline with all it's twists and turns, which kept me engaged through the whole series. The acting from all the cast was also outstanding! I've watched a few dramas with Fan Zhixin and have to say he's an incredible actor for someone who's only 23. He totally becomes the character he plays which makes the story was real and believable!
