Well i am here for the first time. Some animes op from 10 years ago in my recommended? Must be something. Ow wait. Thats just algorithm-tan fuking with us.
@@ichiruki.forever No, the peak was in the 70-90s. Mainly from USA animation and then Japanese later towards the 90s. The USA stopped doing 2D animation because it become too costly due to national development. Japan has been heading in the same direction as they become more developed, which is why we see Korea and China are starting to pick up 2D animation as they are less developed than Japan. Generally Japanese 2D animation has been on a downturn since the mid 2000’s. Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Redline are usually cited as some of the greatest 2D animation to come out of Japan.
Wow, I can´t really believe time has gone so fast, I remember seeing these series at the same time as others good ones, like kaicho wa maid sama, higurashi, omamori himari, highschool of the dead, school rumble, angel beats, anohana, and more, those were golden times
This OP manages to be more SHAFT than the Monogatari Series's OPs. Also I hope your comment is a pun on the fact that the girl is a guy (therefore has a "shaft")
I remembered watching this when I was a high school student and talking to my friends "this is the best anime opening this year" back then. Over a decade since then, this is still one of the bests I've ever seen.
Alani Angeles I wonder why there is not yuri anime with this same atmosphere.. It does not have to be ecchi, but have an atmosphere similar to Lucky star, this show, an azumanga dioh.
I've listened to this so many times in the past few years, but this time when it got recommended, I watched Ep1 on a whim. I can't believe how even just that one episode explains this whole OP. The lyrics are actually pretty neat
