【Part1】No Communication!? Childhood Friend’s First Overseas Challenge in Thailand! 

Childhood friend” is a curious term, isn’t it? The way the characters are assigned doesn’t quite sit right with me… When I looked it up, I found various interpretations, such as ‘a friend you’ve known since before middle school’ or ‘a friend you’ve known since you could remember each other.’ The interpretation seems to vary from site to site, so I think each perspective is valid in its own way…
We grew up together from preschool through middle school. In Takumi’s case, we were together all the way through high school, and there was another friend with whom I was in the same class for 12 years, from elementary school to high school. Coming from a small town, everyone is like family to me. So, in a way, I think we’ve been childhood friends since birth. And this childhood friend came to visit me in Thailand! I’m really grateful that they took the time to visit me, even though I’m living abroad.
