On 13th May, Our Hong Kong Foundation partnered with the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA) and the CDP to host a workshop specifically tailored for listed companies, corporate entities, and sustainability market service providers.
The workshop was designed with the objective to align the operations of listed companies with the imminent ISSB climate disclosure requirements, which will be effective from 1 January 2025, set forth by HKEX. This initiative has been integral in boosting corporate preparedness for upcoming regulatory shifts. The panelists pointed out that initiating the climate disclosure process would be crucial to ensure climate accountability and to effectively communicate companies’ social responsibilities to the public.
