I love the refreshing honesty of these videos. I wonder how you find these people to interview? It's amazing that they are willing to open up their homes and personal life to you. You should introduce Chintaku to Mizuki since they both love Juice-Juice!
It's one of the weirdest interviews I've seen. He never gets upset, in fact he candidly admits that he spends all the money he earns. He also seems to not care about tattoos or his extroverted nature, it gives him a sense of independence. It's really atypical for a Japanese person, really funny. Nice work Ken, as always!
00:09 🏡 The rent for his apartment is 86,000 yen / $575.00 per month. 01:11 💼 He works as an illustrator and designer for a company, mainly creating banners and merchandise for artists. 06:42 🕙 His typical workday starts at 10 AM, involves design work, external communications, and a break for lunch around noon. He finishes work around 7 PM. 07:18 💰 His monthly salary is around 300,000 yen, and he's satisfied with the benefits provided by his company. 09:33 💇♂️ He's had some minor cosmetic procedures, like thread insertion for a more defined face, and Botox for jaw muscle reduction. 10:14 💔 He hasn't had a girlfriend for about three and a half years, finding relationships too bothersome. 12:14 💉 He has several tattoos, including a large one on his back and a notable one inspired by an anime scene. His favorite is a self-portrait of a girl by artist Miyamoto Kan. 13:00 🎨 He recommends tattoos that have personal meaning, showcasing his own tattoos as examples.
plastic surgery or not, he does look incredibly young! also, it´s nice to see that not everyone in Japan is just depressed by stressful work culture. he seems to be enjoying his life as he should!
37 years old, wow! I was thinking maybe 25! He's very good looking. He's earning a good salary as 300,000 yen into GBP is £1,654 a month....wow! Thanks as always, Ken and Erica :))
Good for him! He definitely doesn’t live by the same Japanese work standards most do! He is a free spirit! It’s also cool that his dad is an Orthopedic Surgeon.
I watch all your videos and love them, I never really comment because I never have anything cool to add haha, but I wanted to say that I always look forward to a new video from you and your wife!
He looks super cool with all the tattoos and blue hair, his clothing style is awesome, too! I immediately had to think about the Mangas NANA and Paradise Kiss. He would perfectly fit into it. 😊👌
Awesome Video , Ken and Erica . I'm a freelance Artist in the U.S. and found this really interesting to see How A freelance Artist lives and works in Japan. Very Similar . Thank You Both.
I guess you can't share his IG or fashion brand website... would love to see his work! Thank you so much for your videos, it is such an amazing thing to be able to perceive a glims of real life of Tokyo's inhabitants... Great inspiring work ! Support from London & Paris
Fascinating insights, such a priviledge to hear about someone's lifestyle - thank you so much for sharing. I really love this series. Hello from London... : - )
Cool guy in theory. Forget about his age for a moment. He's earning really well in Japanese standards, but his savings are something. Unless he's paying for a pricey life insurance plan or have a separate savings plan, he really does not have much for a rainy day expense.
He's 37 years old but he looks like a 20 year American, that's funny and sad, the different lifestyle and good health of Japanese ppl is awesome, btw great and cool video as always :)
It's a great living for Japanese who still have balance life, a nice rent space and have hobbies of their own. Many still tied by exhaustion of work life, overtime work or toxic company.
Another great video! It's nice seeing different kinds of interviewees and living styles 🎉 (my curious mind is wondering, is the ¥300k gross amount or after deductions? 🤔)
Love your videos. Keep it up. Really want to move to Japan, but I think I need to be a millionaire . P.s. I like that your videos are kinda real not that posh and they showing how it is
He said he does plastic surgery to make his face look smaller...just a suggestion he could do face exercises to make his face look smaller if he doesn't like surgery...That's what I do so my cheeks don't look so big or so my face looks sharper or slimmer.Entertainning video by the way.
thats one of things why we love Japan... japanese ppl live their life to the fullest and they don't care about others... anyway I wish he will find a woman and get married and settle down with kids
I wish my life was like this lol!! Having a family and a house in Tokyo is crazy!! But I wouldn’t swop it. He looks good for his age . He has the same colour hair as me lol!! But I would not ever move back to we’re my husband lives lol .
You do understand that costs are different in each country, right? Let's say that for an American this may be a small salary. But in the USA, prices are sky-high compared to many countries. For Russia, where I come from, for example, 400k yen (260k rubles) is a very decent salary, even for Moscow. Compared to the US, we have very low prices for everything, so this is a big salary for us. In Japan, prices are a bit higher than in Russia, but on the whole they are on the same level, and for them this is also a decent salary. Especially if we are talking about a person who has no family and children.
@@GameFuMaster he kinda already did. Free cosmetic op twice a year from dad. If things don't work later in life career wise for him, there's always inheritance to fall back on.
